Chrome cast issues

All I'm saying is that

When you “stop casting” it stays connected to your TV on whatever was last showing until you turn it off or cast from a functioning app. Also, when ads initiate when viewing on chromecast, the show continues to play behind them and when the show resumes you’ve missed the equivalent of the ad length. If you try to rewind, guess what, you get the ad again.

THIS APP IS HORRIBLE!

nsrshh

I can’t watch pass any first episodes because the stupid thing keeps asking you to “find a provider” and sign in! The issue is that I’ve got 2 different accounts with different providers from their list so I should be able to sign. In and keep watching with no hold ups BUT for some reason it will NOT let me sign in ? it keeps taking my in this loop where it appears to be logging me in and returning me to the app but instead it’s taking me to an error screen! I’m so frustrated with this process.. This is by far the WORST constructed app I have ever used and not to mention it’s and “OFFICIAL” App ?

ZERO stars!

h_ley82

Seriously?!?! you have EVERY cable company listed EXCEPT comcast/xfinity?!?! it was against my better judgement to download an app that has ONLY 3.2 stars. lesson learned a..n...d delete.

Horrible app

Jasmyn J

Great shows but the app has a lot of bugs.

Terrible App

LorrieX

I don’t have a TV provider so most of the content is locked. The content that I can view (most recent episodes of some shows) stops playing suddenly (usually right after showing me commercials successfully) with a message that that show isn’t available. If I hit play a few times it will eventually show another commercial or two then maybe a few more minutes of the show. It’s ridiculously broken.

Can’t live stream on Apple TV

Whitesauce

When I attempt to log in with my DIRECTV subscription, I get a message that suggests that I don’t have Comedy Central. After some research, it seems that Viacom doesn’t allow Apple TV users to live stream on any of its apps. This is ridiculous since I already pay for this channel.

No support

Mkodysz

How is Comcast or xfinity not on provider list?

Advertisements are far too loud for headphones

Arctier

This is not a television. This is a mobile device. Users are often wearing headphones. My eardrums get blown out each time an ad comes on. Sure, turning down the volume isn’t difficult when ads come on. Except headphones are wireless these days, and volume controls stay with the device. We are not always next to the device. I hate to say this, because I grew up on Comedy Central, but I don’t need this content if it comes with this discomfort. If I’m playing it on a mobile device it’s because I can’t disturb others, right? Like, maybe a child?

Ads Louder than Content - Poor Com. Cen.

dhusen

I didn’t realize how bad Comedy Central was doing, but I feel like resorting back to the old “loud commercials” trick is like a death rattle for a network. Do they get extra kickback for that? Maybe it’s time for something other than 3 shows that run 4 hours straight throughout the day? Crazy thought, I know!

Painful to watch

Jeweible

Commercial volume runs at 150% -175% of show volume, making them painfully loud and requiring you to constantly lower and raise the tv volume.
