The Perfect Puzzler

I’ll admit, I was kind of sad when I finished all of the puzzles. Color Cube is a satisfying, beautiful puzzle game and it offers just the right level of challenge.

Slow Burner, Mesmerizing

Aesthetically refined, sonically soothing, and (at times) engaging. I played through to the very end — that says a lot, as I usually abandon games. The mid levels get too easy - the challenge isn’t graduated the best, but it does end with some real head-scratchers. Good job, developers! Fun!

Great app, a few suggestions

Funfunfun=)

I love this app, it's great for when I want to play a game but still feel like I'm engaging my brain in a relaxing way! My two suggestions are: 1) Have an instruction/reference page that shows how the color combinations work. I know it should be intuitive, but sometimes it gets confusing what colors you can layer to make other colors and I just start arbitrarily guessing. It also took me a while to realize you could layer three colors to make white. This would be great to be able to reference while working on a puzzle. 2) Have the option for a hint. I like that this game doesn't get bogged down with accumulating hints and using those to fake your way through the game. But the option for an infrequent hint would be helpful, for when you're truly stuck. It would be great if the hints only showed you part of the answer, so it doesn't just give you the entire solution. Besides these suggestions, I think this is a great app! I also love that it has the option to adjust for people that are colorblind, awesome job being inclusive but just including it in the functionality of the app.

One of the best puzzle games on mobile

Adamplays82

The toughest puzzles are the ones with spaces that have no pieces on them because they are identical to spaces that have all 3 colors blended on it. Very tricky but also very relaxing. Amazingly well tuned controls. Get it!

Love it

Been playing this for quite some time and always love coming back to it.

Stunning.

The simple design and engaging gameplay made it my go-to game over the last year. I only wish it had more levels!! (Or maybe an undo button.)

Love and Hate it Equally

I’ve gotten used to playing this game after months of use. My one wish however is for the color legend to be placed on the same screen as the puzzle itself, in order to provide a quicker reference for color combinations while playing. I hate having to click and open another window in order to view the color Venn diagram. I’d prefer this feature more than a hint system like other users have recommended. For me, half the battle of progressing forward on each level is remembering how the colors combine to get new colors. Since I don’t play the game every day, I don’t have it memorized. I’ve managed to inch my way through and currently at level 59. I have the shapes down, I just want the color Venn diagram to be placed on the same screen as the puzzle that I’m playing. This would be better than any hint the game would give me. It’s a fun, yet frustrating game all at once. I recommend it but if you’re like me, you’ll love and hate it equally.

Excellent

The beauty of the game is its simplicity and harmony. Anyone who doesn't understand the color system or wants hints is asking for a different game. This isn't a mindless diversion, and that's what makes it great. The only thing I crave is more puzzles - I reached level 270 and it appears to be the end.

Challenging without being impossible.

The rules of the game are simple to understand. The game can be unbelievably easy at times, and a bear another. I would gladly purchase the next installment.

Beautiful And Fun

Colorcube is beautiful. The gameplay is intuitive while the puzzles are still challenging enough to be engaging. The music and visuals are lovely. I like that I can skip a puzzle within a level when I get stuck, and come back to that puzzle later. This game is my latest obsession. :-)
