Touch a color square to view the information for that sample at any time.

Organize the sample collection on the Edit screen. In ColorAssist Lite, the in-app purchase option allows you to upgrade the app to email color samples with color chips, with color chips and a selected photo, or as text only.

On the Options screen, set the sample aperture from 1x1 to 50x50 pixels, and select which color conversions to display.

Touch the "Target" selector then touch the screen to move the sample location without moving the device.

Wow! Real time color
pcgamble

Fantastic little app for those folks who are both color impaired and always taking a SWAG at the proper color name. Perfect for the average guy!

Excellent app!
Capitals0627

A great idea, particularly for people with color-blindness but also good fun to see the colors being named real time. Cool!!!

Missing core feature
IosDev047

You cannot set aperture size to average the colors within the square. It jumps around too much because it is probably taking a single pixel value.

Cool!

This is a cool app. Slightly buggy, but fun to play around with.

Thank you!

My teacher discovered this app. I am partially color blind and was having a hard time figuring out what colors he was using. Thank you for making it easier to do my assignments!

Very good. Needs aperture and exposure

Very good. Tells colors and codes. To be excellent it needs an aperture to reduce the jitter in the colors described. It especially needs an exposure to reduce the analyzed light since my attempt to get any colors from a computer screen just washed out to white.

Too many nag windows
Woodworker60

I can put up with one out of five nag windows per use, but this application puts a nag window up every time you use it. Great marketing plan, annoy the user until he either pays you the dollar or deletes the app.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Pic printer

I reproduce artwork and was looking for an app that I could use in conjunction with a controlled light source to define various colors. Color Assist has all of the features needed for the task. One of the best features is the exposure/white balance/focus lock button. Without this feature, it wouldn't work for my needs. Thanks for a GREAT product!

Meh
Jacquelinechristine22

The color readout isn't accurate. It's close, but the RGB/CMYK value it shows is slightly darker when I test the color in Photoshop than the color it shows on my phone screen.

Helpful app

I'm not sure why nobody has left a review yet. I tried it and found it very helpful. I use it to find the right colors when I'm painting.
