Children love learning that Red and Blue can be mixed to make Purple. Add some Black and it’s a Dark Purple!
Other apps only let your children choose a crayon color. Color mixing allows them to explore their creativity by learning to mix colors and then paint “masterpieces” with them.
Using 5 basic paint colors on the palette, a child can mix them to make any color they imagine, then use the saved colors to paint!

This is a very fun, easy to use and high quality app for kids. My favorite features are: 1) the art gallery (simple-- press the camera icon once and save to the gallery, and a second time only if you want to save it to your iPhone photo album as well; this keeps your photo album from getting too cluttered); 2) the color mixing feature is great fun, kids love it; 3) the simplicity of the layout; and 4) the optional low-key yet stimulating background music (easily muted but I think it's quite nice). I also like the variety of backgrounds to choose from. All in all, great app! Highly recommended.

My 2 year loves this app! The color palette is a great way to learn how to mix colors and what new colors you can create and she loves having so many different pictures to choose from to color!

Downloaded this one earlier today to play with my nephew. I have to say he really is loving the app. Color within the lines feature is key on a tiny screen.

My kids love this app! It turns your iPhone (and iPad) into an educational canvas. My three year old loves to show off his artistic side with the blank canvas while my 6 year old is completely enthralled with creating new colors on the mixing board and coloring in the pictures. It’s easy to use and they love that they can save and share their masterpieces! A great app for kids!

My 2 year old loves this app, and likes a new challenge of mixing her own colors. Plus there is such a variety of different background to create on.

Such liars, this app couldn't have been tested by preschoolers that weren't your own. Because they could've told you this app isn't stable. Trying to switch between mixing & painting the app shuts down. Every time “dad it keeps going off“ straight from my 5yr old. While we're at it, it's ok to let the kids learn how to mix. For those who are yet to get the concept why not give them the option to still choose other colors. I'd request apple to remove such apps or have them fix immediately! When paying for a app it should be a limited glitches. Not a major one such as this. A certain number of bad ratings & your pulled until you submit a glitch free version. Work your glitches out in the free apps. Don't throw a single dime of mine down the drain. Will stick to coloring books. Thanks for the distaste & antitrust.

Very pleased with this one. Love the artwork (my fav is the Koala Bear). The one touch fill for the coloring pages is very nice. But my daughter's favorite part is mixing the colors.

This app would be great if you were actually able to color the whole picture. My five year old was very disappointed when he couldn't finish his pictures because some areas of the page just didn't respond to color. Please fix!
