Review Update: I use this app when I shop, helps me know what'll look good on me. I've even done my friends' colors at Girl's Nights. Fun! I like the update--in app feedback is a good move.

A couple of years ago i paid big bucks to have my colors done. I recently bought the app Color Me True out of curiosity. I was pleasantly surprised. I received a good variety of colors. I did my friends colors and they loved it too.

I love the app and the support. I gave a 4 rating because I couldn't figure out my true color on my own( I am autumn but couldn't figure cool or warm). But with the help of the creator we worked together and she deserves a 5 star. This service cost a lot of money for consulting . Having this app for a low price with the support is amazing. Thank you

Somehow the creators of this app have figured out the science of seasonal color analysis! This program (for just a few dollars) will give you the exact same color results as a $200 color consultation. It is so exciting and I imagine this marks the beginning on a whole new digital era of color analysis. So, you need some fabric or t-shirts in a small assortment of colors (don't try to use your screen held up to your face like the app says); you need an honest friend; you need to use real daylight outside in the shade; you need to read the questions very, very carefully and make sure you answer correctly (for example, one will ask what makes your under-eyes look darker, another will ask what makes your face glow) and you may end up getting used to tapping on the best color when it is alternating what it is asking; you will need some silver and gold jewelry samples (big broaches held right by your cheek work best). This app takes pictures only for the purpose of helping you to compare your hair, eyes and skin to other colors on the screen so you select the closest answer - it doesn't analyze the data for you. To make it really work, you need to print out the colors. It's not really possible to compare fabric to a glowing monitor screen. Just take a screenshot of the results and email to yourself. Then compare your results to all 12 seasonal pallets (just google search). Your results will clearly fit one of the seasons and then you can print out a pallet from google. Take it to the store with a friend and start holding up scarves and clothes to your face that match the colors. You will be delighted!! You won't believe you used to shop without having your colors with you! This is all totally worth the effort. Maybe in the future, the app creators will offer for sale reasonably-priced swatches to keep in your purse after the app figures out your colors. Another con is the app doesn't straight out say which season you are, I'm not sure why. Use the app over and over again on all your friends too!

I tried to write an email within the app to the developers and it doesn't work, the videos have no sound and the app freezes when you try to take a picture.

It is a blessing to have a personalized color palette in the pocket, but even better in digital form. This palette remove the stress while shopping and guaranty that the clothing will suit me perfectly. I took one step ahead and contact Michelle, what a good news to know about the rest of the services, as make up and clothing advice. Wonderful!

With this app I figured out colors that I never imagined before that would look good on me. It's awesome! Just be alert to follow the instructions and to have the good light to take the pictures.
