WHAT IS SYNESTHESIA?
Synesthesia is an overlap of the senses (e.g. smelling sounds, tasting colors, etc). It naturally affects about 1 in every 23 people, and sometimes accompanies savant-like abilities. The most common form is grapheme-color synesthesia (experiencing letters and numbers as colors) which is what Color Code trains for. A recent study by researchers at Sussex University discovered that this type of training can measurably improve IQ.

NO IN-APP PURCHASES, ADS OR MONTHLY FEES
Other brain-training apps hide the best features behind pay walls or monthly subscription fees, and interrupt you with annoying third-party ads. Color Code is a small, one-time purchase, for all current and future content, and we'll never interrupt you with ads. The purchase price will go up gradually as we develop more features and content, so get it now at the current low price.

GREAT FOR KIDS
Color Code is simple enough to be used by all ages, but can be super effective for children due to their heightened neuroplasticity.

DISCLAIMERS
• The effects of this app aren't instant. We recommend playing for 5-10 minutes at a time, once a day, every day, for at least two weeks. The more you train, the stronger the effects.

• Color Code is not intended for use by people who already have grapheme-color synesthesia.

• Color Code is not recommended for people with significant color-blindness.

GREAT APP

This is a really great app and it's fun too.

Great concept
mcnadnerb

The idea of teaching yourself to become a synesthete is very interesting and the process used is overall very effective. The only problem I ran into was that numbers and letters were represented by different shapes, causing the brain to connect shapes with glyphs rather than colors.

First day

Even if it doesn't work in the future it's still a really fun game. Hopefully it will work.

Pretty neat

The game is cool.

Solid app, minimal glitches, but slightly flawed
A fellow traveler.

This is a pretty and aesthetically pleasing application made with Unity. The developer really did a wonderful job, and it is easy to see that this developer has great command over UI, function, and UX. Only encountered one glitch: when training 'w', the letter 'u' came out of nowhere without notifying. If you are serious about learning synesthesia (especially after reading the Sussex study), don't go with this app. Predominately because the alphabet and numbers are rainbow, so it is easy to guess what color the beginning, middle, and end of the alphabet's/numbers' color will be. You cannot set custom colors. For example, 'b' and 'a' are both the same red. Zero is also red. Near the end of the alphabet and number 9, all is purple. Would like to see additional function: -Custom colors -Retraining/Maintenance mode -Short bits of stories in the color that you are training, as to help working association Regardless, this app has uses for memory training or those who like brain games. If you fall into that group, buy this app.

I already have synesthesia
MonkeysOnStrike

This is helping me build it to a stronger strength. I don't really see colors, so this helps A LOT! Numbers have personalities, and I can see music, and I've experienced other synesthetic experiences, that I've never been able to find online. There are over 20 types of synesthesia, and you and/or I, may have one that hasn't been researched. Professionals are constantly finding and redefining new senses. (Most people believe we only have 5). But there is pressure, temperature, and other animals like sharks and shrimp and bats, have senses, we humans don't yet possess. Thank you for this app!
