Still love but...

I still love this app and it is still my favorite color by number by far! The last update fixed the drag and color issue for the most part. However, this issue is still occurring on certain categories, like Anime and Characters. I also have another concern that I’ve been waiting to see if it gets “fixed” or not but it hasn’t. I have noticed that many of the categories like Difficult, Cute, Unique and Cats (to name a few) have not had ANY new pics in a long time. Can you please go back to giving new pics daily? Most of my favorite categories are not updated and I miss seeing new ones! Thank you!! Updated Review: This is the best coloring app out there! Absolutely love it! I was wondering though- with all the new pics being added it gets hard to remember and sort through them. Is there a possibility that when new pics get posted they can say “new” on them? That way we can tell right away. Or they could go in a generic New category for like a week or something and then get sorted into their categories. It would just be helpful! Thanks for all your hard work and keeping everything free!

I’ve loved this app for weeks now, but I’ve been having my “In Progress” projects not saving recently, and I’ve had to re-do them numerous times only to have them not save. HELP.

Not that engaging as even the “difficult” drawings are too easy. If you’re going to butcher the old masters, at least do so with far more detail. Having to go back and refill boxes accidentally touched while filling in a different color, is just a bad feature of this rather boring color by numbers. Like the title says, “meh”. Also, black is just that...black. In the 150 “colors” section, black is sometimes divided amongst many numbers. This is just pure laziness on the designer/developer’s part. If you say a picture will have 150 colors in it, then it should be exactly that..150 colors, not numbers wasted on the lack of color which is black.

This game is relaxing and fun to do. My only frustration is that I will download it, and for a while it will save the progress I’ve made on a coloring but then I will go back weeks later after being busy and it will have it in the in progress folder but all progress will be deleted. It’s a small thing but it gets quite frustrating after you have to keep coloring the same pics all the time. It also forces me to complete it on one sitting to make sure it is saved but I can’t always do that.

TL;DR: If you’re looking for a coloring app that’s free, look no further. This app has a wide selection of free pictures that are a blast to color. If you’re looking for a premium app to subscribe to, this app in its current state absolutely does not justify the subscription price. In my opinion this app has the best selection of pictures of any color by number app. It’s also less obnoxious to use without subscribing than any other app. However, it’s far too buggy to ever pay for. On my iPhone 6S+, it crashes every time I open the share screen. It’s started turning off my music so I can’t color and listen to music at the same time, even though the app has no sound. Also, and possibly most importantly, the icon is really ugly. For an app that costs as much per month as Netflix or Hulu, it should feel like a premium app and should have an attractive icon on the home screen to match that. Instead, the icon looks like that of an ad-laden reskin of a premium app. Orange? Seriously? Instead, go for minimalism with the icon. Maybe a few colored pixels on a white background. The app interface isn’t pretty either, but it’s acceptable. Either the quality of the app needs to go up or the price of the app needs to go down for this to be worth paying for. Sorry for leaving such a harsh review. I’m only writing it because I’ve been enjoying this app and if these issues were fixed I wouldn’t hesitate to subscribe. If you’re raking in more than $12 a month per subscriber, anything less than an absolutely perfect app is unacceptable.
