Many kinds of special bricks will grow or shrink the paddle, give you extra lives, points or equipment like the magnet or laser, and even change the size of the balls so you'll sometimes end up with a screen full of balls of different sizes (and corresponding weights). Some bricks will actually try to shoot your paddle, so stay away from those arrows!
Colibricks features 50 different levels, many of them requiring different strategies so that your score depends on skill and cleverness rather than luck. Gameplay is extremely smooth. The paddle can be controlled by touch or tilt.
Been playing for over 3 years. Always a challenge to try and get a higher score. Also a challenge to get to higher levels without loosing a life. High score (so far) is over 3,000,000. I would like to have the ability to save a game for when my daughter wants to play - but I’d like to keep the game I’m the middle of.
Levels take WAY TOO LONG to beat! You literally spend like a half hr just trying to beat one level!!
Easy controls, lots of levels, items are awesome, and it makes gameplay fun! But the tilt mode barely works. :( Overall great game!
This game just has more things I didn't like than I liked. The levels take way too long at the end to finish as I always seem to get to a point where the ball moves SOOOOO slowly around the large iPad screen and just never gets to the last few bricks. I don't like the way it does the special bricks, and there doesn't seem to be any way to leave the screen and resume later. The screen that comes up after completing a level moves annoying slow. If you are a person like me that likes to just get in and out of a game quickly, this one will annoy the heck out of you!
I remember playing this game or something very similar nearly 8 years ago on my computer and I loved it. The only downsides of this game: its like half the screen, so that's weird. And some suggestions could be a create a level/submit mode and multiplayer(pass n play).
This is a great game where the ball falls down and you move the paddle to bounce it back up. Lots of different configurations.
I was once the ultimate all time Colibricks champion with a high score of over 300,000. No one in my family could compete with me and I was All alone at the top. Unable to find decent competition, and learning that my brother threw out my iMac, I left my family. Some ten years pass by and now we have Colibricks for iPad! I have great difficulty playing Colibricks on my iPad since the mouse is no longer used. It is far more difficult to master. Suddenly the playing field has leveled off. I'm now back with my family and the competition is fierce! Colibricks is a great social-media game!
