"Perfect for early readers and pre-readers, Coji uses a language that everyone knows - Emojis! Kids will laugh along with Coji as they play a variety of educational games that introduce coding concepts such as command sequences and conditionals. Your children will also have fun using the app to control Coji's actions - including movement, sounds, and selecting smiley faces and other emojis that will appear on Coji's screen. Parents will appreciate the emphasis on early STEM skill development, problem-solving, and memory challenges.

""the cutest coding toy in development [...] combines emojis and coding so that kids 4+ can program the robot to both move and do things such as enjoy a hamburger emoji"" - Parents.com

The COJI app includes multiple educational game modes:
"MACRO MAZE
Drag and drop emoji commands to direct Coji's digital avatar through a maze. The COJI robot will guide your child along the way with his funny reactions and positive reinforcement."
"SEQUENCE SAYS
COJI tests your child memory by flashing a series of emojis on his face. Match the icons in the correct order to win, and watch COJI celebrate."
"COMMAND CENTER
Record and play back functions by bopping COJI on the head... or turn your smart device into a remote control and simply drive COJI around."
"How to play:
- Download the app and turn on your Coji
- Open the app and choose your Coji robot

I got this toy when I was four and it was the most fun thing just get the app interact with it,program it also talk to it. This is the best fun I had when I was four.
The app is terrible!!!! Freezes and shuts off, slow, ancient looking. The robot is such a cute idea for the younger ones, but almost impossible to play with since the app is so bad.
We bought Coji for my 4yo who is obsessed with robots. He absolutely adores this thing. I see some reviewers are saying that they have trouble with the app and/or robot, but we haven’t had one issue at all. (I’m wondering if it may be the issues with androids that were reported before? We use iPhone and it works perfectly.). In one day, my son was programming macros and learning sequencing with emojis and directional cues. He loves the command center and steering him around the kitchen. He’s very cute too. I think it may be one of the best priced toys we ever bought. It’s my son’s favorite toy.
This review is for the phone version of the app. It simply does not work. An update is needed for full functionality. Sequencing does not work, which is the whole point of this educational toy. Rc mode works ok unless you switch the face of the robot then it only goes in circles. I will be trying the iPad version soon.
After getting nowhere with wow wee support, we factory reset the iPad mini (updated to current iOS) to try and install this app from scratch. Still crashes. It starts, recognizes the robot, and then the app crashes when trying to load up the games and content. Very disappointing.
I was trying to download the app for an iPad 2 at the first time, and I cannot installed it due to a incompatibility miss function even when in WowWee page says that is compatible with all iPads.... And there is no support or troubleshooting site to go.... Money wasted....
Bought the robot, tried to download the app and cannot install. Instruction manual with the robot says app it iPad2 compatible. I will be contacting company for a refund.
This app is great for anybody who has a COJI. It has great activities that you can do with your COJI. But, I think we can all agree that the chatting part is not as good as it would be if you could text real words that COJI could respond too in real words because not everybody who uses this app knows all the Emoji meanings. I highly enjoy this app otherwise. I hope this will help a little bit to make this app a little bit better. I will give you four stars for a great app. I will give it one more star to make five if you fix the chatting part. ~Your fan, Wolfy❤️
