One of the worst TV apps

This is one of the worst streaming apps to exist. What I don't understand is, how a huge network such as CMT can have such a terrible app and website. How do they not have professional developers? I can't think of another network that has such an unreliable app and website. Watching episodes on the app is almost impossible because it constantly crashes and the same thing happens with the videos on the website. They are forever buffering and it's incredibly frustrating. Come on CMT, hire a web/app team that knows what they're doing and bring your network into 2017.

it would be refreshing if i could get through a show (I'm watching past seasons of DCC) without the app crashing. Adding insult to injury, when it restarts, i then have to watch 1:45 of commercials, even if it crashed in non-commercial time! When it crashes an average of 4 times in a 39 minute show, it gets a little frustrating. i've re-installed the app, am on the latest software for an ipad air, and have deleted all programs in the background and restarted the ipad so cmt is the only thing running, all to no avail, and no improvement to your programs performance. please help!

This app is one of the worst made out there. I cannot believe that a major network has such a poor app for it shows. You cannot scroll to see past episodes it automatically goes to the latest one and then once it does there is no way to get out of it and you have to close the app and uninstall it, reinstall it, and then it does the same thing again. I am ready to delete it for good.

Have been trying for days to watch Nashville. Episodes will not open. Have deleted app and reinstalled, nothing changes.

Would love to make it through an entire episode without having it crash 2-3 times. I am a consummate streamer and this app is terrible but I suffer through because I like the programming.

I watch Apple TV through my iPad with apps when I travel. This is the only app I have on my iPad that only the volume streams to the TV but the picture stays on he tiny screen of the iPad. It does crash a lot and you have to rewatch the repetitive commercials. I guess I will be deleting this app and maybe I will catch the shows on demand. Not ratings for you guys but hats how it works when you don't listen to your customers (evident in the reviews these are long time issues).

This app would be ok (not great, but ok) if I was able to get through an entire 40 minute episode without 3-4 crashes per episode. Even worse, when I reopen the app I get to watch an additional 1-2 minutes of commercials on top of the excessive commercials already shown. Nothing has worked to fix this and I'll delete the app as soon as I finish this show.

No Dish Satellite Support

.... can't even comment on the actual app so much since I cannot sign in. Has support for all major providers except Dish. Makes no sense, since Dish has CMT in the channel lineup. 2). Why on earth does this app force the iPad to be in upright position, like an iPhone? so I can watch shows, movies reduced in size. Makes no sense, Part ll.
