I tried to create a recording of a webpage, first with the iPad held vertically then with it held horizontally. Both recordings distorted the webpage squashing the image bot ways.

I think the company has not invested in mobile app and its users. Buggy on iOS. Overall the product is good.

STILL NO FIX FOR IPAD landscape SCREEN CAPTURE - recordings still come out “squished” because of the aspect ratio…which frustrates me considering the popularity of the device and the fact that CloudApp advertises that they have an “iPad app” - NO you don’t, not yet - you have a Beta. Surely you understand the vast majority of iPad users run landscape mode…it’s just so …frustrating. The app is so good otherwise but this is a complete eye sore. maybe I’m misunderstanding the purpose that CloudApp wants to fulfill in a user’s workflow experience but it really just seems like an oversight at this point given how long we have been requesting this and how basic a function it is. NOW - onto some positives (and there are many to be fair - full disclosure - I do PAY for the monthly pro service) 1. Straight up and down this IS still the BEST (BEST I SAY!) Platform for quickly and easily sharing high quality (emphasis on QUALITY - more specifically VIDEO QUALITY) “how to” videos and/or clips (honorable mention YouTube). I have tried so many different platforms and it drives me up the -bleep- -bleep- wall that they all want to distort or dictate the quality of the image based off some hidden network analyzations we have no control over. So CloudApp, thank you for getting something so simple so right and it taking shortcuts when it comes to delivering the content your users work so hard to generate. Second - Paid app Value - I pay for the pro version and dollar for dollar it’s the best value so don’t be cheap - get the paid version and you’ll love it. Third - There’s WINDOWS support, I probably upload 50% of my content from the Windows client and for the most part it’s been very reliable and snappy. Fourth - awesome sharing and analytics options. You can set passwords to links or make them visible to all - people can comment on videos and you can track how many people have viewed it - excellent option. {WISH LIST} Please please update the video editor akin to Snapchat or something similar where you can chop up a long recording and merge clips in editor- it would make this app beyond amazing. I would pay triple for it if it could edit like that and add captions . Right now the video editor is far too simplistic to be a viable option. Please look at some of your competitors offerings and consider it because you’re way behind the curve on this front. Fix the darn screen capture on iPad please :( your mods on JIRA said it was coming over 2 years ago lol come on! Anyhow, overall great app Thanks! Keep it up! Buy CloudApp!
