Search SoundCloud for tracks, or use ones you've Favorited or even uploaded yourself. Use the massive catalog of songs uploaded daily to SoundCloud to mix to your heart's content.
You are also free to use any songs on your iPhone or iPod touch, too!

Once you select a track, you can play it back right away.
The app converts it into a sound file on-the-fly in the background, meaning there's no waiting for it to download or convert. *1
The circular progress indicator around the import button indicates how far the conversion has progressed, or, when streaming, how much has been downloaded so far.

::::::: Just tap waveforms to scratch
Touch interface offers intuitive control. Touch the sound waveforms directly to scratch in a desired part of the track.
Waveforms can be displayed in either scratch mode or birds-eye mode. In scratch mode, a 1-second waveform is displayed -- move that waveform around to create a scratch just like on an analog record.
In birds-eye mode, the waveform for the entire track is displayed. Tap anywhere on the track to jump to that point.
::::::: Pre-cueing feature enables easy access
By using the Pre-cueing feature on each deck, you can output the sound from that deck to a channel other than the one playing back to the audience.
Use this function to smoothly link tracks together.

Each deck includes 3 samplers you can use to store samples up to 5 seconds in length.
Any data you sample is saved after you close the app, so you can keep using your favorite samples again and again.
::::::: Time stretch, plus four other effects included.
Use the time stretch function to speed up playback by 50-200% without changing the beat. Track speed is automatically made uniform throughout the track, ensuring that sound quality stays constant.
Also included are 4 effects: EQ, HighPass/LowPass filter, BitCrusher, and Gate.

Soundcloud and InterAppAudio no longer work under iOS 11. There is nothing else out there like this app as a source of cloud audio for IAA sampling and sound collage ?

What kind of dj app uses buttons instead of a pitch slider????? No pitch bending buttons either. No option to send mono audio for the master channel for split cueing. Save your money folks. This app was obviously created by someone with no clue about djing.

I first want to say, that I rarely take the time to comment on apps good or bad, I just don't.. That is unless of course the App is really that horrible, or truly amazing!!! Ok.. as for the last comment I just read by DJ George, I couldn't DISAGREE with him anymore. He quotes "this app was obviously created by someone that has no clue about DJing" Well DJ George.. 1. If you knew anything about DJing for starters you would never go by DJ George!! Lets get that out of the way. 2nd, The app does have a feature for cuing where you can hear one song on one head phone and the other song in the other headphone. Just hit the headphone button. So before commenting this app doesn't have this or that.. try using the app for more than 30 sec to see if thats really true or not. But enough about DJ George… Heres my 2 cents on the app.. First off if you're a real DJ unlike DJ George (sorry had to sneak one more in) But if youre a real DJ you will have other equipment present besides just an iPhone.. This App was obviously not created to professionally DJ an entire party with by itself. So if you're using it in that fashion, yes, you may run into problems. I would consider this to be more of a companion application. An app that works at its best with others. So all these other features that are supposedly missing, who cares!! Thats What Serato, or traktor, or Ableton are used for!!! Heres what makes this app special.. You can use this app to search for just about any song you want on the fly and add it to your mix using sound cloud!! Sure you could just use sound cloud directly but there are a few extra features that do enhance this specifically for DJing. Now if I had to criticize anything, I would say there are a few things that could be tweaked but all in all this is a great work in progress!! I do see much potential, and a personal note to the developer.. If you want this app to be successful coming from someone DJing over 20 years Started on Vinyl and now Digital.. Keep focusing on enhancing this to be a companion app, not as an app that will DJ the entire party cause then you'll just attract the rats like DJ George. Serious DJ's will NEVER use just an iPhone to DJ a party REGARDLESS how good the app is. They will always have other equipment software and a midi controller. Its a great start to something special!! Highly recommend to others!! Plus, for $1.99 what do you got to loose?? Well, thats unless you're DJ GeorgeT, then you just spent all the money you got paid for DJing your last party!!! hahahahaaa Oh yea, one more thing about the brilliant DJ George.. He writes what kind of app uses buttons instead of Pitch slider. Then He writes theres no pitch bending buttons. … REALLY??? ARE YOU THAT DUMB?? Sorry man, you just made yourself an easy target, and This app was too good to let you be the only one to comment. Its a shame if others passed up on it from reading your comment that made no sense and was completely false.

Fun and useful app for getting audio from soundcloud to remix or paste into other apps. But it needs a LOGOUT BUTTON badly. Edit: And it really needs the ability to access your PRIVATE TRACKS on the account your logged into. 5 star app if that is added.

Bought this app just because it has the option to open up soundcloud and use the vast array of songs there. Too cool! It works too. Like the other reviews say though, please add a log out button! This app is great fun alongside djay and traktor for the iphone!

There is no way to correct your track by nudging forward or backward. Otherwise the app works great but is essentially useless as it is missing the key functionality required to match beats. Also only half my soundcloud tracks would load.
