Great for PT students

Tyler Naef

This app is really beneficial for PT students as it ties right into the curriculum. You are able to refer to these apps while studying and practicing interventions. It is really helpful for Mulligan techniques and joint mobilizations.

User friendly and great learning tool

SHUDPT1

As a DPT 1 student at Sacred Heart University, I find that this app is extremely beneficial to my learning. It's very user friendly and has an incredible amount of information that you would need to know as an orthopedic physical therapist. I like how it includes various videos and pictures which aid a visual learner, like myself. I highly recommend this app to any physical therapy student for some extra help in mastering PT interventions!

As a first year DPT student at Sacred Heart University this app has been a massive help. It is very thorough and comprehensive while also being very user friendly. It is a great resource both in the classroom as well as in the clinical setting

A PT must-have!

BTiberi DPT

For all physical therapists and PT students out there, this app is phenomenal! As a first year DPT student at Sacred Heart University, using the app makes learning and studying much less overwhelming and significantly more organized. With interactive videos and detailed explanations, this app helps to confirm clinical thinking processes and assists in selecting the most appropriate interventions. It has everything you need, right when you need it...not to mention the outstanding resources that come along with it! I look forward to continued use of the app as a student in the clinic and as a professional in practice!

As a first-year student in a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program, Clinical Pattern Recognition has been a tremendous help furthering my education and development of skills as a Student Physical Therapist, ranging from manual therapy techniques , physical examination and application of therapeutic exercise. Clinical Pattern Recognitionis an excellent resource that I believe will aid any aspiring or current Physical Therapists in helping provide the best possible patient-care

Must have!

Chris?

A must have! For all PTs and DPT students! It breaks down the body and clinical patterns very well. Takes you step by step through the process and provides videos and cues to allow one to get a better understanding. If you don't have it then you are already one step behind

A must have resource!

As a first year DPT student at Sacred Heart University this app has been my favorite resource. The app is clear and concise. The demonstrations are very easy to follow and all the information needed is provided. This app is the perfect tool because it allows you to have access to a large amount of information at the click of a button. I don't know what I would do without it!

PT on the rise

Aspiring PT

The ankle/foot app has helped me in succeeding in my ortho class. The app is set up to help you understand key findings and impairments in different pathologies of the ankle/foot. The app helps guide you in learning patterns to recognize pathologies and then takes you through different tests to confirm the pathology or refute others with similiar symptoms. The app also is helpful in showing videos that demonstrate proper technique, body mechanics, and the usefulness of each test. I also like the advantage of having a patient education section to help you know how to teach your patients about why the tissues are involved, how long it will take to heal, what PT will entail, and how the pt can help themselves at home.

Don't Go Without It!

Amy Mc

This ankle/foot app is so helpful and straight forward-- I can't imagine going through my DPT program without it (especially since this region can be so complex at times)! If you are more of a visual learner, then this app is for you. There is a video for every technique and exercise mentioned, and they also include the research/numbers on how accurate each test is for ruling in and out each item. Couldn't ask for more!

Awesome for students!

These apps are purely amazing. It takes physical therapy and the approach to each patient and really allows you to be efficient with treating. This app is great for anyone looking into different treatment options, it's great for students going through school, and it's amazing for practicing clinicians to stay current. This app really helps the physical therapy industry improve its efficiency! Can't see myself without it!
