NOAA weather live radar

I tried the free app and decided I did not want it. I want to cancel, but I can’t find where to stop the weekly charges. I have already receive two billing receipts for $2.99 each week. Can anyone suggest how to cancel this app?

Broadcast Feeds Don’t All Work

nynjazfl

The broadcast feeds don’t all work. That is the purpose of the application. For example Jacksonville Florida and a few others just spins and spins. Tried it a few times with no results or feedback from customer service. Disappointing as it is such an awesome idea.

Why not get an original name.

Click Bait

Seriously. If you require purchase or 7 day trial upon download don’t advertise in-app purchase. Just say it. Lame. Go to NOAA site, select city and save to desktop. Free people, well you already pay via taxes.

Tricks to buy pro plan

It tries to trick you in several little ways to accidentally purchase a pro plan by what looks like feature buttons

Free edition is bare and worthless

I was hoping to find an easy to use weather radar app to track bad weather. They got the easy to use part right, but that’s it unless you want to shell out $3/week. As a premium weather app, this has it all...but as a free weather app, I’d recommend saving space and skipping it. In the past decade, my area has been plagued by several tornadoes and as the new tornado season is approaching in a couple of months I wanted to be ready. Unfortunately this app isn’t going to be very helpful at all. Everything the free version does I already get with my local news app or Accuweather. The weather radar tracks weather up to 3 minutes ago. During severe weather, I have zero need to see what happened 3 minutes ago. Unfortunately there is no way to see the future radar without paying. I was even having trouble seeing live radar! Anything more recent than 3 minutes ago and everything prior to 38 minutes was impossible to see without paying $2.99 per week. Personally I think this is way overpriced for a consumer weather app, but some of you may have use for it on a daily or even weekly basis. Beyond that, I’d have to say it’s not even worth the free download, as my local news station’s free app at least shows the current weather radar and I can receive notifications through other free weather apps. Unfortunately, the free version of this app is rather unimpressive. The premium version however, is definitely feature packed and ad-free. If you’re looking for an app that has it all and are willing to pay, this is the one. Breaking it down; PROS: -Great user interface -Easy to use -Location tracking for accurate temps and loaded with all kinds of weather and atmospheric related data (sunrise/sunset times, visibility, pressure, dew point, etc...etc...) -Location based watches and warnings/alerts straight to the notifications on your phone. (Only one location for free version) PREMIUM VERSION PROS; -Save multiple locations and choose whether to receive notifications for each individual favorited location -Packed with everything you need to stay up-to-date on weather and some things you didn’t know you needed! -Zero ads -Multiple settings, such as different kinds of radar, multiple layers, hurricane tracking, snow tracking or even fire tracking! -Future forecast models -Even includes the day’s AQI! (Air Quality Index) -Tons of settings to customize your experience CONS: -Weather radar only available for a small window of time if using the free version. No future tracking. [I couldn’t even get live radar working properly on the free version] -Quite pricey if only using as an occasional weather app during severe storms -App is very barebones if using free version -Can only have a single location with enabled notifications if using free version -Does not provide AQI (air quality index) for any location on the free version

Almost nothing to show unless you pay for.

Not very accurate

AirborneKT

I’ve always been a big fan of NOAA, but this app hasn’t proved accurate for me. I turned on the snow accumulation feature and it says I’ll get less than 0.01” of snow today. Let’s see, I already have 4” of new snow today, snow is falling hard currently and I’m predicted to have another 5-10” fall throughout the day according to local news and other weather apps. I expected much better accuracy.
