WDIV is the best news station in Detroit and the function, layout and content of the app are superb - with one major flaw that makes it unbearable to use. Every single time you want to watch the video story, you have to watch a commercial. In many cases the commercial is longer than the news segment. It makes the video function of the app unusable. If you just want to read the stories, it’s a great app, but I prefer my print news from the Freep. I WANT to watch using this app, but they need to cut the commercials to one every 3-4 stories to get me to ever come back to it.

This app jumps around on my iPad which makes it very difficult to read any of the stories.

Was a good app. But now when scrolling through the headlines, it keeps jumping to an ad for a movie. And it'll also pop up while your reading an article. It takes up the whole screen. Annoying!

I have not been happy with this app and have thought about deleting it. I hate the way I get a notification and then thinking I’ll read up on it or see a film clip only to have it give me the “We’ll be right back” this is a total waste of time! If this keeps happening, I will delete the app.

I get most of my news from the Click On Detroit app. I am able to stay up-to-date on all news. However, I cannot read new stories unless I am connected to WiFi. Can this be changed so if I am away from a trusted WiFi provider I can still read the news.
