CleverDeck is especially useful for language learners who want an efficient way to learn vocabulary. CleverDeck includes 3000-word decks for most major languages. Decks were created with the help of teachers and language professionals and include high-quality, hand-picked imagery, native-speaker audio, example sentences, and transliterations. Decks are customizable so you can study words as you discover them in your daily life - or you can use the default order, roughly organized by frequency.
CleverDeck can also be used to create completely custom decks and cards. Use CleverDeck to study anything: medical terminology, the periodic table, trivia, and everything else that fits on a card. Cards can include four fields, an image, and audio.

CleverDeck subscriptions are auto-renewable which means that once purchased they will be auto-renewed within 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. You can subscribe to CleverDeck for one month or one year terms. CleverDeck subscriptions provide full access to all of CleverDeck's premium content (lifting the 100 card limit of the free version). Your iTunes Account will continue to be charged until you cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before period end. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on your device. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at the confirmation of your purchase.

If you are trying to acquire a language, brush up on your geography, or simply want to look smart at parties this is an extremely engaging and addictive app. Can't recommend this enough.
Fun and it works!

This app makes memorization fun. In only a few minutes at a time you review flashcards and with repetition beging to learn a language. It feels like a game but the prize is learning :)

As a user of the old app, I can say that this app has improved very much. Although I have a lot to learn about the app, I can see it's bright potential for language learners and others.

This is a really well-made app. Simple and easy to use, but with plenty of good options and the ability to add custom stuff. I'm using it to learn Spanish and it really helps keep the vocab fresh in my head. Definitely the best of its kind that I've tried

The flash card process which incorporates and image and audio helps to embed new words into your medium term memory. The algorithm allows you to focus on the words which need the most repetition.
The absolute best flash card system

I'm a bit of a language learning flash card fanatic and this is by the far the best flash card app out there. The algorithm is incredible and therefore you learn words more quickly and easily. And also, the native speaker pronunciation of the words is very clear (in all the other apps I've tried it's computer generated or too quiet/bad quality). That and the picture of the word really help burn it into your mind. I used to manage five or so new word a day in Japanese and French and now I'm up to 15 or so.

With an algorithm that personalizes the experience, CleverDeck allows you to move at your own speed, passing by words you know well and focusing on ones that are new to you. With each word, you get to hear a clear pronunciation and look at a sentence that sets the word in context. And you can even create your own cards for words you have encountered in the real world and want to make part of your vocabulary. Used along with a grammar app like Duolingo or a listening/reading tool like News in Slow Spanish, CleverDeck makes for a fully rounded learning experience. I could not recommend it more highly.
