I have always wanted to play the violin because of its graceful sound. This app is really fun & I enjoy being able to play the violin without actually playing it. It is an awesome app.

Ok I still play this because I like to listen to da music But I have a message for a few ppl.... You say it teaches you how to play it?! No! Not very close! Ok i mean srsly?! Playing the violin is NOT about JUST moving the bow ! You have to pluck it and put your fingers down too! I'm a violinist , I should know! Thank you and good night/morning!

Well it is actually a little harder for me to play than actually playing it. And I play in professional concerts!!!

This is nothing like a violin. It teaches you absolutely nothing about how to play a real violin and the bowings don't even make sense. The only thing they got right was the angle at which the bow goes across the different strings. As with any instrument, if you want to learn, find yourself a teacher and have the motivation and dedication to learn properly. This app is a disgrace!

Picking strings and moving the bow back and forth is boring, you need fingerings like a guitar hero type game to make it entertaining

As a violinist, I find this nothing like the real instrument. However, while playing this I found that a lot of effort was put in to this. Yes, I agree with the description that it is a good right hand warm up, but the controls are sort of wacky. I would recommend this to people who have just started violin or never played violin before. With improvement, this app could just be one of the best I have.

I'm new to violin and this app makes it fun to play, yeah it isn't the real thing and I actually prefer the real thing but this is still very fun. I wish it showed where the fingers go so I could actually learn the song
