Paigow is a comparing card game played between the player and the dealer. The goal of the game is to divide a seven-card hand into a left hand with five cards and a right hand with two cards. The pattern of the left hand must be greater than that of the right hand. If each hand of the player is higher than that of the dealer respectively, the player wins. If each hand of the player is lower than that of the dealer respectively, the player loses. In other cases it is a tie between the player and the dealer, and the player's bets are returned.

Paigow is dealt from a shoe containing one deck of cards inclusive of 52 cards plus one joker. The joker is a wild card which can be used only as an ace, or to complete a straight, a flush or a straight flush. For each round, seven cards are dealt face up to each hand, starting from the player and alternating between the hands. After the player divides his hand cards, the comparing rules are applied to determine who is the winner. The round is then finished, the outcome is announced and winning bets are paid out.

This is a great training game. It duplicates very much pia gow in casinos. You must understand the game, the dealer does get a lot of good hands because there are seven cards dealt to choose from. You have to learn how to split the two hands. In a casino there are a lot of ties which allows you to stay at the table a lot longer. Love the game.

Boring!

Too predictable and boring.

This is the worst game I have ever played. The dealer gets aces almost every hand. They also constantly get great hands. I will not recommend this to anyone. Ive never seen the dealer get so many full houses.

Confusing

Too hard to tell when you have won or lost. I have won hands I thought I lost based on the cards, and it has gone the other way too. I've played a lot of Paigow, and it was less confusing in Vegas.

NO, I am not going to buy chips to continue playing the game. My guess is this is a veiled attempt at gambling & it probably violates several laws. Not random either. Deleting this app.

Not worth it

Where can you play a Paigow hand and AJ beats AQ? In this game it's possible! The schematics are off and some hand that should be a loss are winners and vice versa. **beware** after your free $3000 chips are spent, you must purchase more chips if you choose to continue playing! (reinstalling doesn't reset it either) I will stick to playing the free version I have on my droid!

Bad

Do not get this app. It often shows a win or loss when it isn't and after you use your first 3000 coins you have to buy more. You seem to lose a lot more once you buy so you have to buy even more to keep playing. Not worth it!!

Great practice for Vegas

Simple, fun, great game. For those that gave bad reviews: Some may not realize that the suits have an order -that's why they think the game is wrong. Also, if you lose 3000 chips (!!!) and need to buy more, then it's a good thing you aren't playing for money! Try playing one chip at a time until you know what you're doing!
