+ Annotations, Notes and Comments
ClaroPDF includes a powerful Annotation toolbar that lets you add notes and other comments. Annotations created in another PDF app can also be viewed and edited.

Along with making these PDF files accessible and searchable, it will also compress them, reducing file size. 5000 pages and photos can be converted using the 5000 included credits. Further credit can be purchased in app. Photos and Image PDF to Text PDF Conversion in ClaroPDF uses the Claro Cloud conversion service and requires an internet connection.

+ Managing PDF Files
PDF files can be opened in ClaroPDF from all other apps, including Mail and Safari. All opened PDF files will be placed in the ClaroPDF Documents List for later viewing. You can also open files from Dropbox, Google Drive, or import files via iTunes. PDF files can be saved into ClaroPDF’s Documents, Dropbox or Google Drive, sent by email, or opened in other apps that support PDF files. The ClaroPDF Documents List is fully customisable, allowing you to organise your PDF files and folders.

You can sync ClaroPDF with your iCloud account. This lets you store and synchronize your PDF files and annotations across multiple devices. Sync with iCloud can also act as a document backup so you can keep your documents safe.

The app no longer works. You can take pictures or convert to a PDF. You can only view what was previously downloaded before, nothing new. ?

The app is stuck Majority of downloads will not open. I can’t access settings. It goes to a black screen . The downloads that do open do not play. It was working fine. I upgraded to iPhone 11 Mac Pro and it worked for a short while.
Overall Good But Always Opens in Files

This app is one of my favorite apps. However, it always opens in the screen where I have to choose a file from Files rather than to the normal view where I already have documents open from the previous times I’ve used the app. When it opens to Files when launching the app, I have to either find the document again from one of my file sources or open some random file just to get to already open documents. Please fix so that it opens to the last document that was opened, and if I want to open a new document, then make the user need to click on the Open Document icon.

Been using the free version and paid version of this program the last three months of this term as a student in a healthcare program - I upgraded to the paid version hoping for better stability (free version kept freezing entirely and have to restart program), settings, and voice options but really I have not noticed any great value and regret spending the money. It doesn’t freeze up at least. You also get a few more voice options of which still don’t sound that great (Tessa English (South Africa) has been the best so far and is one of the free voices). It also seems that I can adjust the readback speed in the paid version while in the free version when you adjust the speed it just goes back to where it was originally. Having a slider is really frustrating when trying to make slight adjustments. Having a feature to type exactly how many words per minute I want as well would be a great addition! - I’ve selected some of the pay for voices and getting to listen to them more than just for a short sentence I’m realizing I don’t like them but have not figured out how to return them so I can maybe select some thing else. - There’s no pause feature. Only start and stop. So if it stops you have to try and figure out where you left off last. - The reader will stop if you tilt your phone and the screen orientation changes. So you have to lock orientation. If you open up any other page or even the settings screen to lock orientation on an iPhone it will stop. Enabling “read in background” setting helps but it still is finicky. - There are two features both labeled as “speak on tap” under controls. I’m guessing the second one is supposed to be stop on tap and disabled it because it was obnoxious that anytime you even accidentally touched the screen it’ll stop and you have to find your spot again. - It stalls out. Even the paid version will just stop reading without reason. Of course, then you have look at your phone to try and figure out where you were which is not easy. - Trying to get the reader to start where you want on tap can be frustrating. Sometimes I have to tap a spot a few times before it’ll get the idea. In the meantime, either nothing will happen or it’ll start trying to highlight an area instead. - Sometimes it will get mixed up in what it’s reading and sound like gibberish or skip around if there is a graphic in the PDF. I have to stop it and skip ahead past the part it can’t comprehend. - When reading with highlight so you can follow along, It’ll jump the section it’s reading to the top which will be hiding underneath the menu bar so you can’t see it. When you drag the page down so you can follow, it’ll jump back to the top again at the next sentence hiding it again. Of course when I tap the screen to try and make the menu bar go away, then that causes it to stop and then I have to try and find my spot again. - It would be nice when looking in my folders to select a file that it would display the entire file name if you hover over it. Sometimes it’s hard to tell one from another if they’re all labeled similarly in a sequence and you can only see the first couple words at the beginning and at the end. I hope this feedback helps and that there are improvements made in future versions. I would request a refund and go back to the free version but the freezing up thing is very frustrating. Makes one wonder if that’s on purpose so that people will upgrade to the paid version?

Was looking for a good text to speech PDF reader when I came across this app, the description listed almost all the features I was looking for so I decided to try it. After downloading the app I immediately ran into some issues, after loading my PDF almost every time I try to open it the app crashes. When did get it to work, everywhere there is a space or bullet point the reader says "equal" and that's very annoying. Hope you guys can address these issues in a timely manner. Thanks.

PROS: You can click anywhere in the document to highlight a sentence, and the TTS engine will start reading the text from there. Probably gives you the of the more, when it comes to TTS control and cursor positioning. CONS: No advancing controls for the TTS Engine. They have stop and play, but I find it SILLY there is no PAUSE button. That means when you need to pause, the cursor moved ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE TOP AGAIN. Also, no way to advance back and forth between sentences and paragraphs on the toolbar below. No way to repeat sections such as Sentence, Paragraph or Selected Text. Cannot click to play anywhere while text engine is currently reading, if you'd like to skip around. For example, you have to press 'stop' first. Give your users more control.
App crashes often and deletes highlights!

The app keeps crashing on me and then when I re-launch, all my highlights are gone! So much time wasted by highlighting with this app. Please fix this app so it doesn't crash, and if it does crash, at least save the highlights! If this is fixed I will change my rating to 4 stars (5 stars when faster reading speeds are added).
