Ruined

Great game up until the latest version update. Slow. Difficult to play. Not worth the play time anymore. Played hundreds of times prior to this. Deleted from my iPad today. Don’t waste your time with this game.

No pass and play option
James mi

Great game love the American civil war and love your games but you mean to tell me that you charged me 5 bucks for a game that doesn’t have pass and play by the way you would get a lot more buyers if you add pass and play

Disappointing
Kmerch78

I’ve been a fan of Hunted Cow but this game has problems. I played the whole battle and it worked fine but the one day battles stop allowing attacks after several rounds. Don’t waste your time and money till this is fixed. Shame. Their other civil war products are much better.

Love the History, But Needs Work on AI
Vike99

So I have a unit with 2 guys left surrounded on three sides by my six units. One of my units is a fresh unit of 10 veteran soldiers - fires 4 times into this little two unit force (plus equal amount from my other 5 units) before I am able to kill him. In the mean time, this small unit kills one of my guys every volley. This happens numerous times in open terrain. Uh, no, should not happen. I switch sides and notice the same thing - enemy has Uber Mensch who do not miss while my volleys seem to bounce off. Playing standard AI. Secondly, I keep losing Gettysburg even though there are no rebs within Gettysburg. Third, every once in a while after my units fire or are fired on some red colored message pops up on my unit - small font and too briefly for me to read what it says. Fix these nits and this would be a must have game. Still enjoyable as is, though I refuse to commit to playing Gettysburg (prefer the small battles that are also included) for umpteen hours knowing I will lose due to what I see are flaws.

Good, with lots of potential
Mshshistory

I love the history and attention to detail in this game; it is a very good development effort. Some of the scenarios are nearly unwinnable, though, based on the objectives and limitations, and the combat calculations result in a lot of misses. With the severe limits on ammunition I have a lot of units that simply have to hold their fire and take hits. On day 3 the confederates have an enormous number and firepower advantage over the union troops on cemetery ridge, especially with the compressed field shortening their time to advance.

Poor
Sagamorejim

Night does not end after first day and game will not let me past turn 22. Automatic loss because I haven't occupied Little Round top yet but orders say I have until turn 25! Not worth the money! Deleting game after this post!

Gettysburg
MARTYSIV

This app needs overhauling. It freezes up often. You never know what level you have completed. Some units can fire five times and never hit. Take the infernal "no night fighting" OUT! Some games are impossible to win. Wish I had my $10 back!

Your latest update locks up my game after making one move. Please fix it!

Very good however
Steeltman

Since the update, I cannot play with the Confederates. The union troops turn does not end as it crashes. Tried with the Union troops and you cannot form your troops and crashes upon your second attempt at moving a group of troops. Please help. I have the fever for the flavor of a lil butt whooping...

Cumbersome with Potential
Russ1850

Night turns are cumbersome and waaaay to long. Game is nearly impossible to win...animation isn't always smooth. Solid effort though with huge potential to be a great game once all the bugs get worked out.
