Can anyone tell me why my population won’t rise with 135 happiness and plenty of jobs available. Regardless of what job I place or buildings I update or place for happiness it’s been stuck. Anyone? Been great so far but this is killing me.

In the early going it is entirely possible to progress without spending any actual $$$. Over time, though, virtually all new buildings require gold that must be paid for. This appears to be the case for all Sparkling products. Be forewarned: the creators fully expect you to get hooked.

I’ve been a loyal player for two years playing the game nearly daily. I had really enjoyed the game up until today where the developers accused me of being a cheater simply for having accumulated to much “gold”. I freakin played the game that’s all. I would stop in a few times per day to keep playing and that’s why I was doing so well. And they accuse me of cheating???!!!! Do not give these idiots your time, your money or your support. I’m done with them and any other game they develop or manage. Goodbye Sparking!

It becomes impossible to buy more land because it starts costing over a million to buy each piece. Also, you can’t rotate the screen. You can only rotate the buildings and houses 2 ways so you have to build your roads according to how you can rotate unless you just don’t care. This one has much better graphics than 5, but the game could use some upgrades. It’s essentially the same game as simcity but simcity is definitely more sophisticated, the only reason I went to city island is because I didn’t want to build skyscrapers.

It’s free and it’s interactive. I just like it and I would recommend it to anyone that’s looking for a game that has anxiety. U have to wait for your buildings to get built that’s the only real dislike but if u have accumulated enough gold u can have instant gratification... This game tells u what u need and basically helps u through game play ... Pretty cool
