So good

Color matching feature needs work

Noah1069

Everything works great, except for the color matching feature. The camera seems to focus on the brown of my desk instead of the gold and blue of my miniature.

I never write reviews.

This is a worthwhile painting app if you enjoy using GW paints. Amazing. GW is really turning into a customer forward company. Hip hip hurrah!

I've needed this for 20 years!

I've been painting games workshop miniatures since 1997. This is an awesome app that I would have been using since then if it existed. Thank you GW!

Great for the basics

Really was looking for an app the would allow me to store my paint schemes for my models. Then allowing me to take notes on what I had done so I would have some information when I wanted to add models to my army and have the same color scheme. But other than that a great app for figuring out what color's to start with!

Awesomeness

This is such a great app to help get you on your way! Can't wait for more minis to be added

A Great Start

The wishlist and paint inventory alone would have been fantastic, but being able to pull up any model and see what to use is so helpful. The camera functions are a little off but this is still version one, after all. Link in some video tutorials and this app will be perfect.

Dude...

This is a great app and a great way to not only keep your inventory of paint up to date, but look at techniques for bases and minis to get an idea of how to paint like the "Lord of Layers" himself, one of the lost Primarchs, Duncan. It's also a free app so that is even better! Emperor Protects!

Great, thorough app

This is a great little app that seems to cover painting from all sides. The only thing I would like to see changed would be for the examples to be actual models rather than the detailed examples just showing jump packs. I understand that it helps to save space by not having pictures of all the individual models, but it would be nice to see something rather than only jump packs with detail.

Some observations

Amazing app! I love that Duncan's video tutorials are included in the menus. I love that the paints are itemized for each miniature. That being said, I'm using the iPhone 6+, and none of the sound works. Also, why is the only visual example of the painting template a jet pack? It's helpful, don't get me wrong; but it doesn't help me very much when I'm trying to paint a Hive Tyrant or Pox Walker when the only thing you get for reference is how you'd apply the paint on a jet pack. Also, since the app released early, is the eligibility for the giveaway effected?
