In the Tutorial you will find the basic information of the content of the circle so that you can use and take advantage of its resources according to your theoretical and practical level.

Using the Circle of Fifths menu, you will be able to visualize through which intervals the circle moves, the key signatures that generate the 12 pitch of the chromatic scale, as well as their respective major and minor modes.

The Ear Training menu allows you to exercise, develop and self-evaluate your listening skills, listening to and identifying the colors of the major and minor modes of different scales, as well as intervals, chords, cadences and harmonic progressions.

Exercise and develop your practical, theoretical and listening skills with some of the basic elements used in musical performance; combining and practicing: intervals, scales, chords / arpeggios and the most used harmonic progressions in contemporary popular music.

Memorize and practice on your own instrument a progression of blues in different keys, play the chords and / or arpeggios and using the blues or pentatonic scale corresponding to the key of the progression you memorized, try to improvise creating melodic, rhythmic and / or harmonic patterns.

Analyze the relationship and harmonic function between chords, scales, progressions and modalities, try to transport a progression to different keys using functions such as Roman numerals. By writing your own musical ideas you understand and learn to use the foundations of music theory, remember that in contemporary popular music the rules are set by your ear and that in improvisation and / or composition Less is More.

Self-evaluate your knowledge and apply it in any situation you require; personal study, audition, admission exam, professional practice or just to update your knowledge.

We will continue working to add new useful resources for your daily practice, your comments are very important for us to continue improving our application, therefore feedback is always welcomed.
