Google 'Circle Pay' - this outfit is bogus!

Do you trust Circle? Many don't. Would give negative stars if permitted. This is the same scam group behind Circle Pay -- google it, then decide if you want to trust your information and finances with such an outfit. Insane fees, terrible customer service, and inexplicable holds, and that's on a good day.

Lured me in and then they closed my account for no reason and stole my money by at first not even letting me see it and after I contacted them they allowed me some access to see my funds but can’t do anything with them because my withdraw limit has been set to $0.

They made me provide them with my address, name, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and email and only after I confirmed my number did they THEN tell me that they don’t offer their services in my region, so thanks a lot. Maybe you should have told me that before so I didn’t have to waste my time.

Goldman Sachs is up to their old tricks of lies and deceit. I’m pretty sure that’s their mission statement. This app follows suit. First off the fees are out of control prepare to pay 25-35% more for coins. Second you don’t own the coins you buy (as with most of these apps). The minute you invest money they freeze your account (meanwhile your coins drop) just like dozens of others have reported. When you ask why they state they are federally regulated (bs: crypto is not a security or etf) yet can’t tell you which regulation requires them to steal. Then when you are able to buy / sell they won’t let you withdrawal. Save your time and money and just buy coins on the real exchanges. This is just a gimmick to steal in true wall street fashion. Thanks Goldman.
Great App/Hidden Fees not transparent

The app is really great and it makes for an easy buy for instant trades. It’s very intuitive for people just starting out to buy crypto and it’s fast. Where it falls short is there “hidden” fees. They mark the price of a certain currency 10 cents lower than let’s it’s competitor Coinbase. i.e Let’s say ETC is at 13.49 on Coinbase, in Circle up it’s prices 13.39. Then if you want to sell it’s another .12 cents off selling price 13.27. So ultimately it makes for a headache if you invest with over a certain amount. I’m giving this a 2.9 out 5 for not being transparent on how they make money.
Don’t get this app if you wish to withdraw your crypto...

Even though this app isn’t advertised to let you do so, it’s a little whack that they don’t even let you withdraw the crypto you purchase despite the ridiculous amount of verification information and fees. All you can withdraw is any money you have deposited and gained from investing. BTC and other cryptocurrencies’ development isn’t going to continue if people just buy it and let it sit there, cryptocurrencies should be able to be used as an alternative form of payment, and it blows that just as many places have started accepting BTC as a form of payment, all these regulations roll out that normalize the inability to withdraw the crypto you have purchased. I’m leaving one star for visibility so that other people won’t be misled.

This is robbery. How can you charge that much in fees. Claim it’s federally regulated, which it isn’t. Then On top of this, it’s difficult to get your money back. This seems like a trap for new investors who don’t know much about the exchanges. You folks are wrong to take advantage of people. You should stop it. Helo the people become well off with this revolution. Not take advantage. You have become part of the problem. #woke
