Circa 1948 is an amazing way to experience a past time and place. After you've weaved in and out of the streets and corridors, you'll remember it like somewhere you really went to.

Beautifully produced, this totally original app mixes characters, places, and engrossing 'narratives' like a great novel...but without a typical linear structure and with its own unique sound track. The visual details are truly astonishing.

This app stands as a tantalizing glimpse of the best possibilities of the near future's virtual worlds. "Open worlds", places that may or may not have ever existed, where you can immerse yourself and meander through at will, will make today's first-person shooters etc. seem like the child's play they actually are. This is a slice of the future _and_ the past. And watch out for the cherry on top: the release next year of the Oculus Rift and similar devices for the true 3D. We are approaching the golden age of Virtual Worlds! Get this wonderful app and celebrate.

This is a great idea, and has great potential. I downloaded the application and it has shut down and licked me out of it three times in about 20 minutes. I have reset the iPad Air to no avail. Higher marks if this were fixed.

I can easily see this being a 5 star game for someone who's into the excruciating detail this app presents. Just not me. Sorry Film Board of Canada, keep it simple, brainless, zombie FPS, so I don't need to think. I can use the space for yet another 10 different versions of Subway Surfers.

A truly fascinating and immersive experience. This app does not grow old quickly. It is extremely well done with world-class audio, dialogue, and music. The amount of detail and things to listen to keep me exploring for hours. I would have given it five stars but it occasionally crashes. Hopefully they can make some minor tweaks to fix this. We need more apps like this!

Incredibly immersive, with an impressive amount of detail. I can easily lose track of time just taking in all the sights and sounds of this app. Unfortunately, it tends to crash every 20 minutes or so... I can't even take one star off for the instability; it's just that stunning.
