Read what says about Ciclis 3D the famous cyclist Diegoweb:
"Ciclis 3D is an arcade total, but with an artificial intelligence that makes it look like you're in a real race.
The best cycling game I have played, great to play in my travels to the races."
I bought this app since Im an avid cyclist and follower of the sport. The game isn't bad, but the behavior of the peloton is insanely chaotic, and behaves like its 'every man for himself'. Attacks from riders come every few seconds, and riders in front of you would rather blindly disperse and break formation as opposed to maintaining a cohesive single line of riders. It makes the game a bit more exciting perhaps, but also more frustrating. It would be neat it you had a team member who works on your behalf.
I definitely recommend this app to all cycling fans. I can't wait to play while I'm on the exercise bike! What's great: * Panoramic camera is really cool. Can see yourself from 360 degrees, plus roughly another 30 degrees in the vertical. * You actually have to pay attention to your food so you don't bonk. * Realistic - I was part of a breakaway in Stage #1 and pulled out the victory! I mistakenly thought I could do it again in stage #2 as well.... I went on a solo breakaway and ended up getting caught by the peloton AND I subsequently got dropped and finished D...F'n...L. So now I am starting stage #3 at the bottom in the GC. So.... Don't get cocky! Play like it's real! * Clouds - clouds in the sky! Nice touch. * Playability - controls are good. * Enjoyment - you can get into the zone playing this. Both exciting and relaxing. Needed improvements: * Longer stages (not 5 hours or anything, just a bit longer). * A little less flicking in the peloton. It's can be overly rough. * Phil & Paul doing commentary (j/k). * The GC leader in the yellow jersey. * Finish line celebration! * Overall more features. I'm thrilled this game was made... Now I want it to be more realistic to a grand tour.... i.e. Green Jersey. Group sprints to the line. Polkadot Jersey. Getting water from the team car. Teammates. Kisses from the umbrella-girls on the podium. Bobke cameos. ****But most important... Please add crazy fans along the roadside and at least one jumping devil.**** An idea for the game developer: Contact actual teams for in game sponsorship... They would get advertising and you could finance more improvements with that income. Also consider contacting Versus (OLN) and even cycling celebrities for possible contributions and/or sponsorship opportunities. Feel free to contact me about this review and the ideas contained herein (goggle me). So, at long last I'm giving this game my *provisional* five-star rating under the understanding that you will continue to improve this application... Without improvements, I would still give this a super-solid four. Thank you, CJ
If you're a bike racer or ever participated in an amateur bike race on the continent, this is exactly what they're like: Attacks from the gun, fighting for wheels in the gutter, struggling over climbs, it's all there. Only problem is you need to place in the top 3 on each stage to earn money to buy food to stave off fatigue in the next stage -- not easily done. Kudos for the designers for trying.
As a fan of bike racing and an avid cyclist, I am excited about finding a game like this one. It's almost as much fun as pro cycling mgr. Would be nice to have an update.
I wish that there was more detail... Like motorcycle pace cars, instead of like vanagons or whatever they have already... And the courses should be more complex
