Not working at all!

cvpmb

Just downloaded app, it worked for a few minutes, then it crashed and I have a black screen only! It looked like a promising app. One that I hoped to use in my French and Spanish classes. Please fix! Thanks!

Great Game!

Useful app, love the interactive design!

It is beautifully designed, functional and fun. I love the interactive feature of the animation. Just love to play with it and learn some simple words in different language. Hope there will be Japanese version~ Hope there will be more daily dialogues in the future!

Fun game for preschoolers learning words

^Hippo^

App is good for learning basic words through recognizing pictures. Nice for English learning at pre-K and kindergarten level and there is support for learning a second language too. Please add support for learning numbers and shapes in the future.

Fun!

My 3 year old loves it!

Fun!

Interactive and animated flash cards are fun and educational. My 3-year old son and I even laughed aloud at some of the humor--the frazzled papa and the frightened cat. The game to test your knowledge at the end was also fun. Cards are tossed into the air, a word is said, and you have to select the correct card as it is tossed up or as it falls.

Pronunciation?

I downloaded about half a dozen language apps yesterday, mostly German and 2 like this, featuring several languages. The other with several languages boasts using native speakers, and indeed each language has a new speaker. This is the only app of those half dozen that I deleted, and it was because I'm not sure how accurate the pronunciation is. The first thing I did was set the book to German and French (languages I've studied, with German being fresher), and listen to the words. I'm not sure how to put it, but the German sounded too soft to me, and the word Kälte was pronounced as kalt (that last e should make an A sound). Now, this is just going by the free version, where all you have are single words, and I think if all you have are single words than each one should be spot on. It concerns me that others or myself are hearing the words from new languages incorrectly, so I deleted it, included where the stress should be placed. Also, the music on the game is louder than the voice over for the words, at least in German.

Fun for young kids

Enjoyable.

Fun and easy to learn more words

Sem Calça

I tried this app on my phone because I need to buy a birthday gift for a 2 year old who is already playing with his dads iPad. I had so much fun playing and learning new words that I can't wait to give it as a gift! I book was easy and the animations where so cute. The game was a little challenging because I tried the French version and don't know a word but it was fun to guess and learn that was too. Ill have to let you know what my little 2 year old thinks once he starts playing. Thanks for such a fun and creative way to learn words a variety of languages!
