Health App

We have added integration with the health app, that means all your workouts will now be saved and available on the Health app (If available on your iDevice and you authorized it). Upon completion of your workout, Chronic will save your workout in the health app and update your activity rings. If you stop your workout halfway, we will prompt you with a messaging asking to save the workout so nothing is lost.

Notes

* Apple Watch does not permit background tasks, therefore we had to implement a workaround for the timer to compensate for the time in background. Unfortunately we will not be able to implement sound or haptic feedback in the background due to that limitation. Please refer to Apple for more information or feedback.

* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life

Best round timer I have found out there

I have been through a dozed round timers trying to find a short term reoccurring timer that will work with my Apple Watch. Many won’t perform a reoccurring short term timer (like 13 seconds) without paying for it. This one does however I have $300 dollar Apple Watch that does not keep a wake screen in order for my watch to vibrate every 13 seconds for an hour... (70 seconds is the longest wake time and your wrist has to stay up) I love Apple products, however I do require a timer that meets my expectations to get a basic repeating 13 second timer, and for something so plain and basic, I d not desire to pay for something so simple. Is it possible to make this app vibrate the watch every 13 seconds even if the screen is sleeping.

Needs work! Not enough features

Giving it 2 stars. Here’s why. I found it difficult to create and edit the workouts ie. Circuit training with 1 minute rest tomorrow periods in between. Also the audio didn’t work to alert me when the next interval was starting/ending. You can’t skip ahead to the next interval if you want to start in the middle. Lastly it randomly stops playing and didn’t save the workout ☹️

Mostly interested in the watch app to free me from having to use a phone to time my stretching and rolling intervals. Wish the watch app had: 1) a repetition counter showing which repetition you are on out of how many total; 2) an option to keep the watch on during the timing, or at least show it for a few seconds before and after the end of an interval; 3) distinctly different sounds for the end of a) a repetition, b) a loop, c) a workout. Other than that, one of the better iPhone timer apps with a watch app. (Haven't been able to figure out how to duplicate an exercise within a routine when building a routine on iPhone - that would be a great feature to have, if it isn't there)

This is an awesome workout app to have. It's great because you never need to check your phone or watch to know when to start or stop. It does that with various audio cues. Now that it is on the apple watch it is even better! 10/10 ?

I use it on my iPhone 4S. Well designed and works great. Does what it promise. I like the simple design most. So you can look fast on the timer and exercise further without interruption.


Great Interval Timer

I have downloaded multiple interval timers and this is one of the best. It is extremely easy to setup and I really like the big number so I can read it even without wearing my glasses. I practice Yoga on a regular basis and this app is very helpful when creating routines with multiple asanas. I have routines with over 100 asanas and the app works perfectly. This is my new favorite app when it comes to exercise. Currently, I am using it for my yoga, meditation, HIIT, among many others and it works great. Most importantly, I have been searching for a native interval app for my Watch. I have downloaded mostly all of then and this one is very close to my all my needs. There have been some minor issues but the developer has been working intensively to finding the right fix. I have never obtained such a great support like the one I am getting from Mr. Ace. He has been very responsive by answering emails and phone calls. I am looking forward to future updates. Keep the good work!


Great on Apple Watch

I bought this timer since it seemed to have flexibility to easily use on an Apple Watch. It downloaded fine and I could not get it to work. Sent an email at 7:47 in the morning and the developer answered my question by 7:52. Force touch! Duh, why didn't I think of that. It is perfect for my applications especially yoga where I try to hold poses for 15 seconds and then move on. Would like the addition of an infinite number of intervals or at least a higher number of intervals than 100. My wife also uses it for physical therapy exercises following shoulder surgery that require consecutive stretches of 15 seconds.
