Wont download proper

Bhawk 62

Bought a book but no way to get it into library on a iPhone 6. Only way i could open was thru iMovie which is frustrating and impractical. Tried all the suggestions for customer service but nothing works.

Far too complicated

Luketm91

Far too complicated to download/sync audiobooks to mobile devices.

WT......

WHY ON EARTH DOES THIS APP KEEP DELETING MY BOOKS? IT TELLS ME BECAUSE OF LOW MEMORY... I HAVE 4 GIGS OF FREE MEMORY AT ALL TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frustrating

urila

I tried to get books again after a couple months of not being a member. And sure enough it's just to difficult to down load. It will go to iMovie to do that and it still don't work. I'm done. Will cancel membership again but keep it that way. Why on earth can't you get the download more user friendly?

And will not download books. Just used a gift certificate today and cannot listen. Terrible app.

Lousy App

Eldee99

I love Christian Audio Books as a whole but the iPhone app is absolutely horrible for downloading a book. It crashes constantly and is slow no matter how good my internet is. Once I get a book loaded it works great but that!s not an easy thing to do.

Does NOT work

Topeka ~ Kansas

I paid $15 for a book and it will not download on my phone or work on their app. Why make an audio program the will not work on an IPhone!!!! Do not waste time unless you will use this on a computer. It does not work on smartphone

Expensive

Indy_Steeler

The books are expensive but I do like the concept.

Really Buggy, Needs Work - UPDATE

Sam Johnson Jr.

Update - Unfortunately, this app just continues to get worse and worse. I have had to delete the app completely and re-downloaded several times to try to get it to work. Every time I read downloaded I lose all of my previous information about the books I was listening to. The downloading process is terrible. Most of the time, it just doesn't work. It will start downloading my book, and then just stop halfway through the download. The app developer needs to completely scrap this app and start from scratch, in my opinion. This is just too filled with bugs. Too frustrating. Not worth the time and effort. --------------- Previous review… First off, I'm really glad this app finally exists. I've been buying books from ChristianAudio for many years. I also buy a lot of books from Audible. Audible has had a great app for many years that I use daily. I've been looking forward to Christian Audio developing an app as well. The App is finally here, but the thing is it is terribly buggy. Which makes it frustrating and difficult to use. Here are my biggest frustrations: 1. Every time I try to refresh the audio books in my library on my device the app freezes up and I have to shut the app down and reboot it. 2. For no apparent reason, if I pause the audiobook and then come back to it a few minutes later, the audio jumps back about five or 10 minutes, so I am re-listening to something that I've already listened to. So I have to keep using the jump forward button to find the place where I left off last time. 3. For no apparent reason that I can figure out, when I have shut the audiobook app down completely, then opened it back up again a day or two later, the audiobook I have been listening to will start over again from the very beginning of the audiobook. Again, very frustrating because I have to go back and find the place I left off again. I should note, that this is happening with books that I have downloaded from the cloud onto my device. Also, the app is missing what is arguably the single greatest feature for this kind of app. There is no streaming service available on the app. Your only option is to download the books directly onto your device instead of streaming. Streaming is what makes this kind of app most useful because most devices (like an iPhone, iPad, or iPod) have very limited amount of space on them. When you can stream the audio book, it doesn't take up valuable space on your device. Hopefully this is a feature coming in the future. Anyway, I'm very glad this app is here. I just hope all of the bugs get worked out quickly so that we all can start enjoying the app, and more importantly the wonderful books that are on the app.
