I've only had the app for a few days, but right off the bat I've noticed some significant errors. The illustration of the fretboard is incorrect: there is a dot on the 9th fret instead of the 10th fret. Also, fingerings for some chords (like D7, a pretty common chord!) are all labeled "1". Hopefully the developer can fix these errors quickly!
Some of the basic chords are missing. Everything in D is labeled incorrectly. The fret marker is on the 9 rather than the 10. It's easy to scroll down through the chord types but difficult to scroll up. Fix these and you'll have a good app. Until these are fixed its not worth paying for.
Yes, there are a couple bug as other reviewers point out that I am sure will be fixed. However, this is the best Mandolin chord app I have found. It not only provides 3 or 4 fingerings for each chord but also shows the notes and intervals. This is exactly what I was looking for.
In older versions of the app it was easy to change the root note of chord, but in this new version it has become almost impossible to change root note
This app is simple to use, quickly lets you switch between voicings, shows fingering and the tonic, sub and dominant tones .... all on one screen.
