Even though I’ve played for decades and learned hundreds of chords and songs, I use this app to find the multiple names given to unknown chords I have played or am learning. Just simple, exact and professional.
Worth it for the “Genius” feature alone

This app is a great quick reference, but the best feature is the suggested chord progressions or “genius” feature. I hope they enhance the learning feature over time.

Actually decent Jam tracks, scales in every possible configuration, tuner, chords galore, circle of 5ths, complete with lessons for not only a better understanding of guitar, yet an easier, way less lame way of learning to jam with scales.

This app is fantastic. I have been using it for years. I love the growth that has come along with the app. It never stops teaching me something new. I catch myself just practicing how chords sound together in my spare time away from a guitar instead of playing games on my phone. You can tell that the makers of this app really love guitar and want anyone who is interested in guitar to be able to play. It really is worth the money to buy the full app. The tutorials and access to several different chords are super helpful. However I have lost access to the entire app. I have tried restore purchases and it just spins endlessly. I still have ChordBank pro on my iPad, but it’s reverted on my iPhone. Big bummer. It’s such a great tool to just have in my pocket. Update: Ok, so after a email and a very quick response Chris was able to get my app working correctly for me. Hands down great customer service.

I did the first lesson, then realized you have to pay for more. So I ponied up for the full app at $15. We’ll, what do you know? Those 5 lessons you see? That’s all there is. And it’s about as beginner as beginner can be. If it kept going, I’d be thrilled. But now I’m just lost.

I’m a beginner and found this app easy to follow and I recommend it highly. I go over the lesson using them as practice and learn something every time
