Chocolate Chip Cookie Factory: Place Value

As owner of the Chocolate Chip Cookie Factory, your job is to ship and deliver cookies to your customers as fast as possible. Cookies are sold by ones... or in stacks, boxes, cartons, crates, pallets, and trucks. Tap on an item to add it to an order. The order will ship or be delivered when the cookie count matches the cookie order. But keep an eye on the clock. If you are too slow, your customers will buy their cookies from someone else!

Fun game. Great for learning.

This is a very fun game. My 6-year-old niece loves it! Not sure if she even realizes how much math she is learning as she plays it. If you like this game, you should also check out Vertical Learning Labs’ interactive multitouch textbook, Place Value from the Ground Up, on the iBookStore.

Me want Cookie!!

My daughter loves this app,'great concept and great gameplay...the art is excellent too! Keep cranking out those cookies and we'll keep selling 'em!

My students will enjoy this.

The cookie factory and cookies in various types of containers was clever. The program is fun. Sometimes I would forget the place values on higher levels since they weren't marked (thousands, ten thousands, etc). For subtraction I found it hard to relate what I was doing to an actual subtraction problem. For division, the items were divided among houses, which made sense. I believe this will be helpful for my students.

Good counting game

What a great concept and a fun way to teach counting. I like the music too.

Delicious!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Factory is a fun and educational way to work with place values while practicing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. With multiple levels this game is easy to customize to the child and offers lots of room for growth. I would like to see more clear reinforcement of answers added in future versions and then this would be a 5 star app!

There is fun in learning!

This is a terrific app for working on math concepts from counting to division! The ability to track data and work on concepts at varying levels allows for reinforcement of users at all stages and of all ages! Like mentioned, there is data tracking capabilities, but I wish there was a way to record more specific data rather than whether a level was completed. Other than that, this app is great!

Great learning tool

I love this app and I'm excited to use this with my students this year. I used it with the students I tutored with over the summer and they really enjoyed it. It is a great review tool to work on ones, tens, and hundreds. It is also a great visual model of how to add subtract, multiply, and divide.

Fun and great practice

This app is great for anyone who needs or wants to practice counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division! A large age range could enjoy this app! It is engaging and fun and really focuses on the math. You can have multiple users and it will keep track of your score.

Cute place value app
CAO623

Although this app is not as flashy as other apps, it is a great resource to practice place value skills. Children use cookies, stacks of cookies, pallets, etc to build numbers, add, subtraction, multiplying and dividing. You are able to add multiple players and see some of their data. Directions are included on how to play individual games.

Great math app!

This is a wonderful app for helping your child understand numbers higher than 20, which my kindergartner needs. I love the options for tens, hundreds, thousands and many more. This app could be used with five-year-olds as well, as long as you're doing it with them. I plan on using it with my daughter to help her with math. The app is confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's great.
