No "Listening" ability

Although this may be a very extensive ap, I was very disappointed after purchase to find that it cannot "listen" to a bird call and identify, similar to SoundHound with music. That was the only reason for my purchase.
A great learning app

I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter who loves birds. She spends long periods of time scrolling through the pictures of the birds and listening to their calls. She loves this app and is learning so much.

I'm just a casual birder but this app is excellent. Listening to all the different types of birdsong is very soothing, and the quiz (where you identify different birds by their birdsong) is very well done.

One of the first apps I ever bought--several years ago! Still use it frequently, still works, has been compatible with every iOS upgrade. It's the only app I've ever had that has NEVER had a glitch. If you're a bird lover, I highly recommend it. If you're a cat owner, it can be a real "hoot" ?.

Excellent app! Well worth the money & very helpful. Would be more helpful to have pics of both sexes, but only so much room.
