I love rhythm beat games and this combines my love for those types of games with the classic old-school 8-bit fun RPGs. This is a new take on the genre, very well done and has a lot of potential. It's the first of its kind and I think will only grow from here! Great concept and lovin' the story and great usage of the tap screen to destroy bullets with your shield while ducking under bombs and jumping over puts.

This is a MUST have title for any chip tune lover. Some of the best chip tune musicians out there contributed to the sound track. Chip gods like Fantomenk and Meganeko lend their talent to make candy for your ears and eyes to enjoy in the perfect medium: a 16 bit rhythm game. Every song is amazing. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

I'm in neither the chiptune scene nor the rhythm game scene yet I can't stop playing this game!! The music is super fun and catchy, it's totally easy to learn how to play yet difficult (and addicting!) to master the coordination of that music with the obstacles... and the way the little guy runs and slides and jumps cracks me up. PS super impressed from a music standpoint at how the higher levels make you focus on inner melodies/rhythms!!! #musicalskillz Okay bye gonna go back to playing it now.

Chip Beat Blaster is an excellent addition to the pantheon of fun mobile rhythm games. There's plenty of enjoyable chiptunes in the lineup, and the gameplay is simple to pick up with plenty of creative note charts and challenges for rhythm veterans in the later stages. Watch out for those streams!
