Alright, rules need tweaking

pham0100

Good game, nice interface... Some main rules not followed. The rule where two kings cannot directly face each other is not followed. This is very crucial to gaming strategy.

Attractive, atmospheric game.

I'm terrible at Xangqui, but this app certainly makes practicing a more attractive option!

can actually win this!

Nice interface - works really well on the small screen! I like that both dragging and tapping work for moving pieces. I'm not sure what pham100 is referring to - telepotency, aka the "flying general" attack works just fine here. This version of game lets you "finish off" your opponent instead of quietly ending the game when a checkmate situation occurs. You can make moves that leave your general in danger... and then suffer the consequences.

totally worth the 99 cents. it's better than my free xiangqi on my comp. And the music is great.

Good game

Awesome

I had never played chinese chess before, but this caught my eye, and at 99 cents i figured i'd try it. If you are like me and dont understand it at first, wikipedia it and find out how to play. Trust me, it rocks

Haven't fully explored it yet, but...

Why isn't it letting me make certain moves that I'd be allowed in real life Chinese chess?

Good for its price

Great app with nice looking pieces. Can you add a restart option for in game?

there are some problems with this game.

klimus

great chess game, but i can't make some move as in the real game; also, i can't start a new game without going back to the home screen.

This game is really well done.

I am very impressed with this game. Gameplay is excellent, it really has a great look, and overall just really well done. The highlight on move spaces can help a beginner, but the game can be challenging for those who are experienced too... now has become one of my favorite games...
