About our guide

We make great, interactive travel guides.
To make our guides we use the content that is freely available. Open content sites like Wikitravel, Wikipedia, World66 and Openstreetmap are among the best resources for any traveler. Our mission is to make that content relevant for you. So we mix and mash and annotate - and we distill great, relevant travel guides out of it.

We like open content. In fact some of us were involved in World66, one of the first open content travel guides on the web. Our travel guides are very much a re-mix of open content out there.

Currently we're using content from: Wikipedia, Wikitravel, World66, Open Streetmaps, DMOZ and Chefmoz

We're big fans of these projects. If you stumble across some inaccurate information in this guide, we would appreciate
it if you correct it on the web site of these projects.

Crash-a-licious!

Crashes on startup every time I try to launch. App fail!

"New" Favorite Travel Guide!

I love to travel and have added all 29 FREE travel guides by Triposo to my collection of travel apps on my iOS device. Each Triposo Guide is very well-done and packed with useful information and pictures. None of the guides have crashed on me. Triposo Guides will definitely give these guides, which are also apps a run for their money: “Nepal World Travel”; Frommer’s Guides; Keen Guides; and Lonely Planet Travel Guides. The smallest-size Triposo Guide is Chicago Travel Guide at 13.6 MB; the largest is Moscow Travel Guide at 115.9 MB.

very useful

Could be used without wifi. Detailed content. Can save address.

Fantastic app and it's free!

I have never been to Chicago, so I needed this app and I used it to review my hotel, find restaurants, find directions, find the Closest train, we relied on this app a lot! It works like a charm and bookmarks all the things you are interested in and lets you know how far it is from your hotel to where your going by foot and car and shows a map of how to get there. It is an awesome app a must have if you're going to Chicago.

Awesome app...

This app was super helpful, we went to Chicago another time and we got lost a lot and had no idea where things were or what to do. So, this time around I downloaded this app and it was extremely helpful!

We're in America

This app seemed too good to be true, lots of great information. Then I found the flaw...all the prices given are European! I need prices in US Dollars. I couldn't find a way to change the settings. Any help would be appreciated.

Very helpful.
Packed and ready

Loved the bookmarks which made it easy to recall the best itinerary. Also enjoyed The history as we are taking teenaged grandchildren. Hope they learn lots. Best of all, free! No crashes for me.

Not impressed

As a visitor to the city, I hoped that this would be a more complete app. Only 2 museums are listed?!

Smooth and very details

The UI is very clean and smooth. Looking forward to using this app to help plan my trip to Chicago.

Promising but flawed
zarlino

Has some good points and starts in the right direction (bookmarks etc), but one of the more useful features (metro map) can't be zoomed out of, so all one can see are two or three stations at a time: no overview of whole system.
