I think the app is okay. Not easy to use as the original app . To check your credit card balance you have to go through different steps to reach your chevron account. Why can’t you develop a simple app just for seeing and paying your card rather than this way. Thanks

I have tried to link my PayPal account to this app multiple times. Seems impossible. I guess this could be a paypal issue. Did anyone bother to test the app before making it available? ??

$100 hold for $25 fill up

I love the concept of a quick fill-up using the app’s mobile pay feature. Everything went smoothly from the GPS navigation to purchasing the gas. However, after I began filling up, $100 was withdrawn from my account for just a $25 tank of gas. It’s been 6 days since the purchase was made and and the rest of the money (still listed as pending on my account) hasn’t been refunded. I love this feature but, due to the large withdrawal amount, I can’t afford to have several hundred dollars withdrawn for gas because I fill up a few times a month.

Please support Apple Pay or at least adding regular credit cards. It’s nuts that an app in 2019 has such poor support for accepting payments.

Where’s the support for Apple Pay? For even a standard visa?

It’s pretty ridiculous that there is only support for Chevron cards and PayPal. Really? How consumer unfriendly. I refuse to swipe my card at a gas stations anymore for obvious reasons, so I’ll be avoiding Chevron/Texaco until/unless they improve card support.

How hard is it to just upgrade your existing app instead of creating a whole new one that will not let me login? Ridiculous, piss poor programming. Now I have to create a whole new login instead of incorporating the existing login credentials. Lame

Do I get a discount Every time I use the app for filling up? I normally use BP because I automatically get 5 cents off every Gallon. I have the Chevron App now to use. I am wanting to see how much I will save each time I get fuel please? Thank you!

Confusing

I tried using the new app but it’s a bit confusing to me, compared to their previous app, since it doesn’t look like there is a method to make a payment TO your Chevron card. If they can have the same features on this new app, like they do on the previous app, I would be more inclined to use the new one.

Doesn’t Support Payment with Apple Pay

This app doesn’t support payment via Apple Pay. Worthless.

Would be better with Apple Pay and rewards program like competitors.

I understand that “we plan to add more payment methods in the future” but I wish chevron would specifically put in the app description or somewhere confirming to us that Apple Pay support is indeed in the works. And also maybe a timeline of when because it’s 2020 and we never got it in 2019 like lots of the review answers said we would. I’ve actually noticed that the notice of new payment methods coming in the future has been removed from the add a payment method setup screen now. Also a rewards program like those of your competitors would be nice without having to get a credit card through you. I drive past a chevron every time I need gas to go to a competitor that has a more user friendly app, rewards program, and Apple Pay support. Add those and I’ll quit wasting gas to get gas. Thanks!
