First, I'd like say this app deserves five stars in my opinion! I'm enjoying ,bookmark,holds the last position view. Book selection is good on,Openings, Middle game and endgame study. Hope see a area with opening index in their books,and page number of the start of a game. This chess app works great on my split screen iPad Pro.
Fix, please.

First, the latest update has a bug. Doesn't pop-up the variations when scrolling through a game. The game just becomes "stuck" on a move with more than 1 move and won't scroll forward. No, I didn't have the "ignore variations" option turned on in the settings. Second, I really dislike the additional white space added to the left and right of the board. Visually savvy developers (Stockfish, Shredder, Chess.com) maximize screen size because we are, after all, looking at this thing on our phones (tablets, too). My iPhone screen already comes with black borders because the screen isn't flush the edge of the phone. Additionally, I have a protective case on the phone - more borders. I don't need a reduced chessboard suspended in the middle of unnecessary white space. The last app version didn't have the border and it seems an amateur graphic designer has come along and ruined a good thing by attempting to fix what wasn't broken. Please change it back.

I've tried many of the various chess book apps, and this is the one that I utilize the most.
Poor design that needs updates

A large selection of ok books in a poor app design. In dire need of serious updates. Board display takes most of the screen and pale blue font for the text!

A couple simple things: -There aren’t enough choices for customizing the board (and none for customizing the pieces). I personally don’t like any of the choices available. -In the _Move By Move_ books that have questions and answers, it would be much better to have the answers hidden by a fold in the page until we choose to reveal them. Otherwise, the app functions fine and I love having the e-books available for download.
