I find all the completely distracting advertisements scrolling along the bottom of the game screen deplorable. Please, please eliminate them so e can play chess!! Thanks.

Love this app. I like the fact that I can play as a guest. The app is easy to use and a great way to get a mind break.

The interface is dog ugly and limited. It feels like I’m playing a DOS game or perhaps something from the Commodore 64 days. I keep waiting for a command prompt to pop up. I vastly prefer the Chess.com app. It’s more user friendly and fun.
Great, No frills, Chess App for Playing Real Opponents

This is probably my most used chess app. It’s super easy to use and I love playing against friends, or random people from all over the world. Love the time limit option, and the in game chat is great. Side note, I’d definitely pay a couple dollars to get a premium version without the ugly banner ad the bottom.

I love the app. Friends can’t understand why I don’t switch to chess.com. It is simply because I want the ability to request a move back. You can be many days into a game and a blunder doesn’t have to end a good chess game. For me, I don’t care much about my rating. I just want to play with as few restrictions as necessary. I hate winning on blunders and view it as a waste of time so I often offer my opponent an undo. Great feature. It would be nice to offer the ability to send a comment with the request to undo rather than offer it in separate steps. A missing feature is the ability to have more than one game going with the same player. You can have simultaneous games going but not more than one with the same player. I’m sure this makes calculating rating points more complicated but I’m less concerned with my rating compared with my ability to play friends as many times as I want simultaneously. I think that would be another easy-to-implement differentiator.

I was unable to move two of my pawns during a game. Neither move would have exposed me to check so . . . It was definitely a bug of some sort. Needless to say I am now losing that game. Eeee!

I’ve been able to keep in touch with great friends of mine by this app. We’ve been playing consistently for a year and now I’m 200 miles away we still have the grid to look forward too.
