I love chess, and was debating on this for a while...I'm not really a straight up beginner but I have a lot to learn, and this is a very helpful app. It also looks very sleek too, which is a nice bonus to it!

I am just learning chess and this is the best app I've tried (this is the 4th). You can choose the level at which you want your opponent to play, and you can learn from your mistakes. I definitely recommend it.

I'm using this to learn how to play Chess and I love it! The only thing I wish it had is a realistic/3D wood theme board and wood theme piece set. Please add them!

Worthwhile Chess Game

The app teaches you chess by just playing the game. You are supposed to learn strategy from trial and error. It will not work for everyone. If you want more instruction the developer has another app that coaches you during the game.
