Landscape mode not fully functional

Husher1823

I have physical disabilities which preclude me from using my iPad in portrait mode or from rotating it. Landscape mode should have full access to all of the game's functions. Limiting landscape support to a "minimalist view " really cripples the game for me. Developer response off mark and insulting- nowhere is minimalist mode mentioned in the app, and the need to change orientation is poor design. It's despicable that a developer's response to a user's concerns is that they should switch to a competitor's product - no doubt because the user is disabled. Besides, Apple doesn't refund App Store purchases.

Cool and simple app if your looking for a good chess app I would recommend this one. The more I play it the less I feel I need to buy a chess board.

Great game to learn from the best computer moves. I

Every time I play against the computer, my game improves

No Multiplayer

This game is a fine port of chess with one massive, glaring omission: You can’t actually play against another person next to you. You cannot play using the same iPad. That means no subway games, no road trip games, no cafe games, no old-men-sitting-at-a-park games. It’s such a weird omission for a board game.

Great chess game!

I really like this chess ap. it has it all. Money well spent. The rating system is neat.

Really..

I paid $10 for a chess game that doesn’t even tell you how the pieces move when you highlight them. I know how the pieces move, but if I’m paying $10 then such a small feature like that should be included.
