It's far too simplistic... The chemicals are not sorted alphabetically, so are hard to locate. The names of the chemicals are not listed... Only the formulas, making things harder still. Quantities are not controllable... You're stuck with basic reactions... As far as that goes. Also, the classic "acid test" of copper in nitric acid doesn't even react! Needs work, and ipad version.

The app doesn't do the best job of including compounds that are used in modern chemistry. Also, it assumes that you need a Bunsen burner for EVERY reaction. For example, when you have a flask of chlorine gas and add a bit of Na, in reality, there is an exothermic reaction and pure NaCl is formed. In the app, however, you are require to use a burner, and when you add Na to a flask of Cl, a liquid NaCl is formed. That is not correct chemistry. This should be called almost Chemistry or good alchemy, because it is not chemistry. It's close. But it's not.

The app doesn't include all reactions such as some of the displacement methods of some metals in a metal salt solution. It also requires you to have a Bunsen burner for practically every reaction, even if that reaction would not need a bunsen burner in real life.

Maybe the program just needs to be updated, but as of September 2016 the most basic things do not work. For example, adding sodium hydroxide salt and water does not create a solution. It doesn't know how to handle copper sulfate and sodium hydroxide together. It thinks you need a Bunsen burner for everything even basic stuff that requires no heat or even produces its own heat. There are tons of design issues, such as not listing the chemicals in alphabetical order, not having a search option, etc. This will only frustrate you, and offers no real education value.

Don’t bother getting this trash!!! The last update was 5YEARS AGO!!! The developer has abandoned this app almost instantly!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!!!! IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST WASTE OF YOUR TIME EVER IN HISTORY!!!!!!! THERE ARE BETTER APPS!!!
