A major disappointment for cheese lovers

I was really excited about the potential that this app had, but was quickly disappointed after I downloaded it. Biggest problems (and there are many) include low resolution graphics, limited info for each cheese and surprisingly few cheeses covered. Some really important cheeses are missed. Not worth the money. The Fromage app also has room for improvement, but is more detailed and comprehensive and worth the money.
Too much fluff, not enough substance.

Reviews keep talking about how beautiful this app is but it doesn't even look like it's using Retina Display -all the images are pixelated. And speaking of images, there's just too many of them - they seem to mask the content at times and it's apparent in the download size as well, which is close to 20 MB. Additionally, there seem to be glaring omissions of cheeses. Sure, there are too many cheeses to list them ALL but I say focus more on the content and less on the eye candy. Bottom line, wish I could get my $5 back. Maybe worth $0.99.

Great idea for an app, but the presentation is dated (low-res pics, blurry font) and the selection of cheeses and info about them is severely limited. Not a single cheese from Germany? Feels like a very first-gen app at a higher-than-other-apps price. Get a book instead.
