This app is the hardest app to earn money on along with SavingStar. The same rebates are offered every month with the exception of odd add ons. The only thing I use it is in hopes of winning the drawing (you don't even need a purchase for it.) This app needs some work as it seems like no activity happens here for updating rebates?!

It's very easy to use and I've already had a cash out after about a month. I do wish they had a paypal option.

We generally buy whole foods and cook ourselves, avoiding processed foods much of the time, so we only get back $.25-.50 a week from C51 because of produce most of the time, but it does add up like change in a change jar. I would love to see more staples like "any loaf of bread", "any gallon of milk", "a pound or more of any meat", etc., but having offers that people can and will actually take advantage of costs somebody money :) . So it's taken me two years, but I do finally get to cash out $20 this week that I wouldn't otherwise have--a free tank of gas for maybe twenty minutes' worth of work over 2 years' time. I could live with Checkout 51, or without it. I keep using it because it just takes seconds to click on carrots and snap the receipt--I can do that while waiting in line somewhere. 4 stars for excellent ease of use and choose-your-own offers that I and everyone else I know can actually use, but not 5 stars because such a large proportion of their offers are subsidized items of no interest to my household that never go away.
Great App but needs improving

This is a great rebate app. Fast processing and great help desk support when problem happens. What would make this better is a Paypal option for cash back and also a better variety of items currently there are way too many beer options.
Frustrating all the work you have to do to get approved!

Of the two times I have uploaded a receipt, I had to email them both times because they did not give me the credit I earned. The first time I uploaded a receipt they did not give me credit for one the items. When I pointed it out, they then gave me credit for that item but removed other items that I initially earned credit for. The second time I uploaded a receipt, it was less than 24 hours after purchase. I was notified that I was not going to get my credit because the item was not live at the time I purchased it. How would I know what to purchase if it wasn't live? Frustrating! ibotta...much more consistent app.

The concept of the app is fine. I use Ibotta and I love it. But I've been using Checkout 51 for 3 months and I'm up to...wait for it...$8.80! I've made $47 on Ibotta in the same time period. They need to make it so you can cash out every $10 instead of $20 or have actual rebates people will use. I frequently see alcohol and diapers. I don't have a baby or a drinking problem so...

I saved $8 the first time I used the app and $25 in the first two weeks. Just by buying items I would have bought without the savings.
