The Centered App for iPhone & Apple Watch allows you to:

• Set a personalized daily steps and a weekly mindful meditation goal
• Meditation sessions include: self guided meditation, mini meditation, mindful walk, meditation on activity, compassion meditation, mindful meditation and body awareness meditation
• See how mood is impacted by being more mindful and increased activity
• Schedule reminders to meditate with time suggestions based on open times on your iCalendar
• Integrates with Health App

The mindful meditation sessions in the Centered app are based on clinical research by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine and the Adler School of Professional Psychology which suggests that brief, regular sessions of mindfulness-based meditation can result in reduced stress and increased overall health. Also, general research has shown that meditation and physical activity can lead to stress reduction, better heart health and weight loss, among other health benefits.

I wanted to see what it was all about but as I wanted to open the app it closed.. So uninstalling the app, maybe if it works properly later I will download again.

I use this app everyday and find it beneficial. I would suggest a change though... could you have a set of meditations without the long introductions for those that use this regularly? Intros on things like "mindful activity" are a very useful introduction but rapidly lose their value as I use the app daily. Thanks for the nice app.

I like how this app helps you focus on both your physical and mental health. It counts your steps, and you can set a daily goal. This has definitely been a motivator for me to be more active. Also, the meditation sessions are very calming and helpful to relieve my daily stress. I also love that it has a widget that I can view from pulling down on the top of the iPhone screen. I can look at my progress without opening the app. Love it! Update: it crashes often when I try to look at my stats.

I use it for the meditation options. Very handy and encourages frequent short meditations during the day. But has never accurately captured my activity and steps. And it's not just a little off. It's grossly inaccurate. Hope they vet the bugs fixed. It it was accurate it would be one of my favorites.

Just wanted to say KUDOS to whomever initially developed this application. Someone had a great idea and applied themselves. This app has not only helped me set aside time to focus and center myself, but I could see how many more could benefit from it. My girlfriends and I have even found time to meditate together. It's amazing how powerful just a few minutes of silence and steady breathing can keep me level-headed through my very hectic and atrocious agenda. Loving this app and really diggin the meditation segments through my Apple Watch! For a free app, don't doubt yourself, try it! The guided mediation is legitimate! So many of us just need a few minutes per week to just remember to love ourselves a little bit. Impressive app, thanks Centered Team!
