Great little game

If you like lemmings or spirits(another app store gem) then you'll love this game. The gameplay is smooth, sound fx are fun, and the levels are cool & creative. Definitely worth downloading.

Awesome Lemmings derivative

SuperPollito

This game is an old school classic with a change of scenery. Basically you solve the puzzle of how best to guide the cavemen to the exit while losing the least number of them. The levels are, I believe, the same as in the original Lemmings. The artwork and music is fresh, however, and the ability to interact with the iPad is a lot more fun than using the mouse back in the day. However, it is also more difficult to select one particular lemming, er, caveman. This is particularly frustrating on some levels where the solution is time sensitive. I can only imagine this may render more difficult levels impossible if you need 100% survival rates. Other than a few minor quibbles, this game is a great puzzler for newcomers and veterans alike.

Solid but blah

mogmios

A solid Lemmings clone but lacks personality. The graphics are well made but the colors are mute and the cavemen are depressing. Would be nice to see a little humor and warmth. Maybe some physics to give the game a little bounce. A little influence from games like World of Goo could make it awesome. And PLEASE make it a universal app.

An amazing ode to Lemmings

As a huge Lemmings fan(I played It on every platform possible), I always wanted to be able to play it on the go on my iPhone and iPad. I know the developer got into some legal issues with Sony when he was working on a port and instead he created his own version from scratch and from the look at it, it is a gret game. The game basically plays like lemmings, if you have played the game you won't be a stranger. The cavemen idea is smart since they are as stupid as lemmings(hehe) and the abilities work just the same. the controls work pretty well, you control both the mouse and the camera which seem to work great. the graphics are pretty very well illustrated and the music fits the setting very well. The game however could still use some improvement but I know that the developer listens to the customers and he is doing all he can to improve the game(not to mention he will be adding more levels with each update) Here are some of the suggestions the game could use: - Camera scrolling could be smoother - Multitasking!!! - Pinch to zoom - Smoother animations maybe? - Some kind of game center integration I think it's a great app as is and with time I think it's just gonna get better with time. Buy it!

Great game!

Yogakake

This is a great game! It's just like the lemmings only with dumb little cavemen to save. I highly recommend this game!

More levels needed!

MAdude123

Had a lot of fun playing through Medium but would like the ability to unlock the higher levels...

Horrible

Noodly Pooh

They promised updates... Nothing came of that. It has been a year since any update. Overpriced and a complete disgrace to the Lemmings!

Update?!?

Katrinabobina

Sooooo... Where are the new levels the game has promised? If you're not going to add more levels, then don't say you will. As a customer, I do not put up with liars. It's been almost a year. Get your act together.

Great throwback classic

Buzzmouse

Fantastic lemmings clone, with gameplay just like the original, a fresh look and feel, and intuitive controls. Why not 5 stars? There is a glitch where the game crashes if you use the builder cavemen off the top of the screen. Where are the hard levels?! Can't wait! ...still no more levels?!

True to the original

wkiraly

If you liked Lemmings, you will like this clone. It is very true to the original. Okay, the cavemen are just a little less cute than the original lemmings but they still explode quite satisfactorily, just in much deeper voices. If fact the gameplay is better than the original because it is properly sized for the screen and the touch interface is better than using a mouse. There are a few other minor differences like the lack of the inset window showing the whole map but the premise is the same and Lemmings/Cavemen is one of the most addictive, fun and challenging arcadish puzzle games ever.
