Seven catch games, a painting app and a little musical game with The Persian Kitty Garage Band. Designed and developed with a lot of help from my own two cats, Sonny and Cher!
CATCH GAMES
• Mouse - brown, normal size!
• Mouse - white, small!
• Goldfish
• Spider
• Butterfly
• Fly
• Flea
• With sounds to catch your cat's attention!
PICATSO PAINT APP
• Select colors to paint with (you can freely choose between 27 different colors). You can choose to paint with just one or a few colors or paint with a combination of all 27 colors.
• Choose between 3 different canvas (background) colors.
• Select "messy" or "clean" painting style
• Choose between 2 different "paint helpers" - which actually work great as catch games as well!
• Save your paw painting to your camera roll (in the Photos app) and print it.
CAT MUSIC GAME
• Catch the bouncing kitties to make them play their instruments.
• The goal is to get them all to play at the same time. Which is not that easy, because these little Persian kittens quickly lose interest in practicing and start bouncing around the screen again!

IMPORTANT: To prevent your cat from switching apps while playing, go to SETTINGS > GENERAL > turn off GESTURES while your cat is playing!

I have tested all these games on MANY cats and although most of them enjoyed the games (especially the Catch the Mouse Game), I have to be honest; digital mice and spiders are not for all cats. Some just totally ignored the moving things on the screen. So don't say I didn't warn you : )
But I hope you and your cat(s) will have as much fun with these cat games as my cats and I have had developing them and testing the app!

My cat loves this game so much that I can’t leave my iPad unattended or he tries his best to make it work. My only issue is that the “take picture” feature doesn’t work properly anymore. I hav to take a screenshot to save it and then completely close the app to go back to the main screen.

I've tried multiple cat games/games for cats. And this is the only one they like. They love whapping the screen and they especially like the brown mouse catch game. Thanks for the entertainment! :)

My two cats love this game however, the younger one gets pretty aggressive when she plays and the game constantly slides up or to the side and closes out. Can you guys make it to where we can lock the screen?? I hate having to stop what I'm doing just to restart the game for my "girls". They love it so much that they actually seek my iPad out to see if they can find the mouse lol. It would be nice if you could lock the game so it doesn't close by sliding.

This is absolutely adorable! My cats LOVE it! There are so many different games to choose from. Their favorite is the mouse assisted painting. I know it seems so strange to get games for cats on an iPad but, it really keeps them interested and is so much fun to watch the cat playing If you are a cat lover, this is worth the $2!!! My only request would be to increase the pitch of the mouse squeal in the painting game (or add a setting that would allow the user to change the sounds, even possibly record sounds) It's the higher pitch noises/squeaks that REALLY get their attention. Thanks for creating this! It's GREAT!!!

My 2cats go crazy for this app. One favors the fish and spider. The other cat loves the mouse. Every time I pull out my iPad, both cats come running!
Why Isn't this App Easier to Find?

This is far better than any of the other apps for cats. The mouse, especially, is well designed to attract them. It stops and starts like a real mouse, and the "eek" it makes when it's tapped is fun. All of the characters react in a way that is interesting to cats - unlike other games. The problem is that, when I searched for this using "apps for cats," it was way down the list, after the lame Friskies app, and other equally bad ones. Even more problematic, when I searched using the app name, I didn't find it. So how could folks who've heard about it find it? My cat is chewing the edges of my iPad as I write this, he wants to play again so badly. The app should be easier for people to find.

Needs a way to lock the screen

My 'boys' love this game but are very adept at sliding off the game and try to continue playing but with the other apps on the ipad. I've had apps deleted and moved by them as well as changes made in apps. The only way they can play is with my careful supervision as they change the screen about every minute or less. When the games are started, the screen needs to be locked until the 3 taps in the corner are done.

I give it to him on the ipad for about 30 min a day, sometimes more. He loves watching and chasing the mouse, the other games he really does not care for
