I even tell jokes, just ask me :D (spoiler alert: I'm not that funny)
I'll ensure you have the best board with these configurations:
- The maximum number of dots per intersection
- If neighbouring reds (6s/8s) are allowed
- Whether or not to use the default port locations
- If ports are able to be the same resource as whats on the shore
- Colour blind mode for those who need it!
More themes on the way! Please let me know what you would like to see in the comments! I will respond and address each one.
Beep...Boop...Happy Catanning!
Great way to spin up a random Catan board, but for new players, the color codes aren’t super apparent. It would be great if there was a color key in the output image, or if the different resources were labeled more clearly.
I like the chatbot style. But when we try to generate boards with default ports for extension, ports are not actually same all the time plus they don’t align with ports on board. One thing that might be useful is to show the numbers at the border joints like actual board does. That will make it more clear I think.
There are no ports on the boards this app generates even tho there is a question about ports.
Very good but doesn’t listen when I say don’t want the resources with their ports.
Before this I was always accused of cheating, as it was my game and I was the best at it of my friends. Because it was my game I would set up the board as random as I could and we would tile the dice and so on, but with this app the game actually can’t be rigged. I can simply set it to whatever everyone agrees upon.
Great idea for an app. We play catan all the time and this has become an issue. We started spinning the robber to pick a spot an random, but this seems like a better solution. Only issue is once a map is generated you can’t go back to the chat screen. What if we didn’t like the setup and wanted to regenerate a new board?
