My cats like this game ok but they aren’t all that interested in it and it’s hard for them to tap the screen. I also think it’s ok but not great.?

My cat loves the old version of Cat Fishing. Honestly he only likes the level with one fish. It would be great if this app could be updated with a setting that but you use the old version with the old sounds. Maybe it would be enough to let the number of fish selectors go down to one, instead of ending at five. My cat did like the old motion and the old sounds. I would imagine it would be quite easy to integrate that into this app. It would be so much better.

My cat used to sit in front of my iPad to wait for me to put the fish game on. She’d go absolutely NUTS over the old version. Now, she still begs to play but every time I turn it on since it updated she has no interest in it at all. It would be nice if you made a separate app with the old version! I think she misses it ?

Very Disappointing Update

Sorry Friskies, but my cats don’t have their own data plan. The fact that they now have to have the internet and sign in just to load it has completely killed their game. There is no wifi where we live. There tablet has to go to school with me just to get updates. Way to kill the excited kitty mood. Do you know what a disappointed cat face looks like? Because now I do. The game locks up in the “continue as guest” phase won’t even load without internet. Major fail!

Other apps of this sort have much better water effects that react better when its touched. This app’s water is so cartoonishly bad, my cat won’t buy that it’s something for him to do. The splash sound is bad and the water displacement is nothing but a short water circle that doesn’t spread at all. For cats, this might often be a dealbreaker for this toy, because most cats are too familiar with water, so they don’t fall for the gimmick. Worst Water Mechanics for this genre of app. This app is free for a reason; don’t waste your time.
