With CascadeSkier you can view forecasts, temperature, 24 hour snowfall and total snow base data for your favorite Pacific Northwest ski resorts and backcountry ski areas. Data is updated hourly and comes straight from NWAC weather sensors so you can trust your information to be as up to date and accurate as possible. For each resort, you can also see the NOAA three day forecast, check the NWAC avalanche forecast, view webcams and visit useful related links for road conditions, trail maps and more.
Resorts include Whistler Blackcomb, Mt. Baker, Hurricane Ridge, Stevens Pass, Summit at Snoqualmie and Alpental, Mission Ridge, Crystal Mt., White Pass, Mt. Hood Meadows, Mt. Hood Ski Bowl and Timberline the Methow Valley XC Trail System.
Backcountry Ski areas include Paradise at Mount Rainier, Mount Saint Helens, Blewett Pass, Chinook Pass, Washington Pass, and Mazama.
Accuracy of data is questionable some times. Webcams have not been updated since 2017 and Instagram call does not work. I hope the developer comes back and improves this app. It could really be awesome and most of the leg work is done!
I've been using this app since the Windows phone days and love the consolidation of links and info but over the last year or two some of the links and snowfall calculations have stopped working. Please fix and I'll update my review.
They stopped keeping up on this app 3yrs ago. None of the data is correct anymore
My favorite resource before hitting the slopes. It is extremely useful when you want to decide where to go skiing, or to check the conditions if you already know where you want to go. Big thumbs up, glad I purchased.
This app is great. It aggregates so much useful information about all the Pacific Northwest ski areas and saves me a ton of time in trying to find the information I need. Plus, it is nicely designed and the art used for each area is just beautiful!
My favorite app from my Windows Phone days! Finally! All regional mountain information in one place. I did prefer the look and feel of the WP app but all of the content is here. Thanks!!
This is nothing more than a weather report - it doesn't even tell me if the resort is open or not. I could get this information from a free weather app - for free. Very sparse, little info; not worth $2. Please may I have my money back?
